NASCAR Truck Series: TSport 200 Odds, Top 4 to Win, Final Pick

And then there were two. Just like that, we are down to the final two races of the NASCAR Truck Series regular season.

Only 10 drivers will make the cut and continue to race with a shot at winning it all, and if you look at the current standings, it is very clear that those final 10 drivers are far from being set in stone.

1. Christian Eckes | 618 points
2. Corey Heim | 586 points
3. Nicholas Sanchez | 505 points
4. Ty Majeski | 490 points

My Analysis

Down by the cut line, there is a group of drivers who are one bad race away from being out. The pressure right now is huge, but this is exactly what you would expect from this stage of the season.

From this point forward, the pressure will continue to ramp up until there is just one driver standing.

This weekend, the action shifts to Indianapolis for the TSport 200. Let’s look at some of the potential favorites.

Christian Eckes Truck Series Pick +450

In terms of current form, you can’t ask for much more than what Eckes has delivered over the last 3 races in the Truck Series.

During that run, Eckes has been on the podium 3 times, winning one of those races, so it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine that he will be able to extend that streak this weekend.

With that victory, Eckes now has 3 wins this season and is at the top of the driver standings.

He had a fantastic run in this race last season, finishing 2nd overall, so I think he has a real shot at winning this one, and he is my pick for 1st.

Corey Heim Truck Series Pick +183

Last season, Heim made it all the way to the Championship Round before finally settling for 4th place overall.

The feeling was that he would be in the hunt to win a championship this year after a breakout season, and he is certainly living up to the hype.

No driver has more wins than Heim in 2024, as he leads the way with 5 victories.

Heim has won 2 of the last 3 races, landing on the podium in the other, so he is also in great form.

He has been in the top 10 in each of his last 2 runs in this race, and he seems like a good top 3 pick.

Nicholas Sanchez Truck Series Pick +960

2023 was the first full season in the Truck Series for Sanchez, who failed to win in his inaugural season.

He did, though, manage to finish 6th overall, but he looks even better this year.

Sanchez broke his goose egg by winning the opening race of the 2024 season and has since won 1 more race.

He has cooled off a little in the last couple of races, failing to crack the top 10, but can he bounce back here?

Sanchez landed outside the top 10 in this race last season, so top 5 might be the high mark for Sanchez.

Ty Majeski Truck Series Pick +270

While Majeski is in the top 4 in the driver standings heading into this weekend, he is still looking for his first win of the season.

He has, though, been in the top 5 in 5 different races this season, so it’s not as though he hasn’t had some close calls.

If you were going to take him to win, this might be the weekend to do it, as he won this race in 2023.

Still, I think that a top 3 or top 5 finish would be the way to go given his current form.

2023 TSport 200

While the battle for playoff spots in the Cup and Xfinity Series is set to go down to the wire, things are already heating up in the Truck Series, which is shorter than the other two. The regular season is done, which means that the field has been cut to 10 drivers and the playoffs are about to begin in the Cup Series. This weekend in Indianapolis is the first of 3 races in the Round of 10, with 2 another 2 drivers set to be cut when those races are over. We are jumping ahead of ourselves, though, so let’s stick with the TSport 200, which is set to go on Friday night at 9 PM EST. Which drivers are likely to be in the hunt for this race, especially with regular season winner Corey Heim out with illness? Let’s take a look to consider in your NASCAR Truck betting odds.

Zane Smith

NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +300

While it’s disappointing that Heim is not going to be able to race this weekend, the other drivers will be looking at this as an opportunity to move forward. The playoffs are simple in that if you win, you are automatically into the next round, and while the drivers at the top of the standings are likely safe from the first cut, you can never feel fully safe. The issue for Smith is that it has been a minute since he last took a checkered flag. In fact, he has now gone 11 races without a win, although he was on the podium in 5 of those races. He finished 3rd on this road course last year, so look for him to be among the leaders on Friday.

Carson Hocevar

NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +400

This is a driver we haven’t really spoken about a great deal this season, yet he heads into the playoffs sitting in 3rd in the driver standings. Hocevar has 3 wins this season, including a victory in the previous race. Oddly enough, he has not been on the podium outside of those 3 wins, so it seems to be very much win or bust for Hocevar. He did not have a particularly great run on this track in 2022, but I think we can toss that out, as this is very much a breakout season, with Hocevar going 2 full seasons winless before getting his first this year.

Christian Eckes

NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +750

The one thing that is standing out this season is that no one driver is proving to be totally dominant. In fact, you have no less than 5 drivers who have all picked up multiple wins this season, with 3 being the most victories by a single driver. Eckes is in the group that has 2 wins on the season, but he will feel that he is long overdue for another checkered flag. He was another one that did not excel on this track in 2022, but I would not be surprised to see him finish in the top 5 on Friday.

Grant Enfinger

NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +750

Enfinger is another one of the drivers in the 2-win group heading into the opening round of the playoffs, but he may well have the edge over the others this weekend. While he failed to crack the tip 10 in the 2 previous road races this season, he did take the checkered flag on the Indianapolis Road Course in 2022. If I was being forced to make a pick for this race, my money would probably be in Enfinger to win it.
