The races are coming thick and fast in the world of NASCAR, and in the Xfinity Series, there is just one more race to go before we know which 4 drivers will be taking part in the Championship Round.
Veteran driver AJ Allmendinger has already punched his ticket to the final four, but the remaining 3 spaces are still up for grabs after Tyler Reddick dropped in from the Cup Series to pick up the win at Homestead-Miami last weekend.

My NASCAR Xfinity Series Analysis for the National Debt Relief 250
This is what NASCAR is all about, and it will be the drivers who can best handle the pressure of the penultimate race of the season who will find their way into the final round.
Who will get the win this weekend in Martinsville in the National Debt Relief 250? Let’s take a look at the current odds.

Aric Almirola +310
Last weekend, we had a Cup Series driver drop in and spoil the party, so you have to wonder if we are going to see that again this weekend, with Almirola dropping for the 6th straight week in the Xfinity Series.
While he does regularly race at a higher level, Almirola has not dominated in the way you might expect, winning just once in those last 5 races, while also winning at this level much earlier in the season.
We all tend to lean toward Cup Series drivers racing in the Xfinity Series, but Almirola hasn’t done enough for me to make him a clear favorite, although a top 3 finish seems possible.
^Chandler Smith +510
Another issue that Almirola has is that there are 7 drivers still looking to win and secure a spot in the final round, so you can bet that those guys are going to be pushing hard to get one step closer to the championship.
Smith is right in the middle of that battle, and while he might find a way into the final four without a win, he will be going all out to leave nothing to chance.
He saw a run of 7 straight top 5 finishes come to an end in Homestead last weekend, but this is a guy who always seems to be in among the leaders.
I think a top 5 pick is the way to go here.
^Cole Custer +570
The defending Xfinity Series champion is looking to make another trip to the Championship Round in hopes of defending his crown.
He is very much in position to make the move into the final round, but like every other driver with a shot, he will be looking to control his own destiny with a strong performance in Martinsville.
He did not have a great run in this race last season, but it is worth noting that he had already clinched a final four spots at that point.
Furthermore, he finished 8th in Martinsville earlier this year, so expect a little better this weekend.
^Justin Allgaier +570
At this point, I think we are all quietly rooting for Allgaier to finally win a championship after more than a decade of close calls.
As Always, he is in the mix heading into the penultimate race of the season, but his spot in the Championship Round is not yet guaranteed.
I think this might well be the weekend where he secures that spot, as this is a track that he seems to like.
Besides winning this race last year, he also finished in the top 5 earlier this season, so he is my pick to win this one.

2023 Dead On Tools 250
NASCAR Xfinity Series Dead On Tools 250 Odds: Drivers face a certain among of pressure in every race, but at this late stage of the season, that pressure is at an unimaginable level. MyBookie Sportsbook NASCAR Lines
In fact, as we head into the final race in the Round of 8 in the Xfinity Series, there is only one driver who can feel in any way comfortable about proceedings, which is something we will talk about in a moment. After last weekend’s race, there are still 3 of the 4 Championship Race spots left to be filled, so this weekend in Martinsville might well prove to be a bit of a mad scramble, with 7 drivers looking to fill those 3 spots. The Dead On Tools 250 will start on Saturday at 3:30 PM EST, with the following drivers and Xfinity betting picks set to be among the favorites to win.

Sam Mayer
As we just mentioned, there is only on driver that has clinched a spot in the final round of the playoffs. That would be Sam Mayer, who punched his ticket with a win at Homestead last weekend. Mayer made a bit of a slow start in the postseason, but he has ramped things up rather dramatically, winning in each of the last 2 rounds to earn his spot in the final race of the season. While the pressure is certainly off this weekend, he will still want to maintain his current momentum. Mayer did not have a great run at Martinsville earlier this season, but he was 6th in this race in 2022.

John H. Nemechek
While he has not yet booked a spot in the final four, I am of the belief that Nemechek is still the man to beat this season. It would need to be a disastrous run from him this weekend for him to miss out on the final race of the year, which I don’t believe is something we are going to see from him. Nemechek has 7 wins on the season, and despite not winning for a few weeks, he has finished on the podium in each of the last 2 races. It is also worth noting that Nemechek won the race in Martinsville earlier this season, and I expect him to be in the hunt again this weekend.

Cole Custer
If the championship race was coming this weekend, Custer would be in with a shot at winning it all, but he has to make it through this one with enough points to hold his spot. Custer saw a run of 4-straight races in the top 10 come to an end last weekend with a 13th place finish at Homestead. While he may well have done enough to move on at this point, it is not totally guaranteed. Custer needs another solid showing in Martinsville, and you have to like his chances given that he finished 3rd on this track earlier in the season.

Austin Hill
In his first full season in the Xfinity Series, Hill made it to the Round of 8 before eventually falling at this hurdle and finishing 6th overall. He is on the edge again this season, as he is currently sitting in 4th and in need of a good run this Saturday in order to make it into the Championship Round. He has not been particularly great on the Martinsville track, so the pressure is very much on.
