Justin Allgaier is the favorite of the 2025 Xfinity Series Odds to Win

The NASCAR season is over, with a trio of champions crowned across all 3 series.

Now is usually the time to sit back and reflect on the past season, but rather than doing that, we think it might be time to start looking ahead to 2025.

My Xfinity Series Analysis

Yes, it’s far too early to start making predictions about a new season that is still months away from beginning, especially when we know that drivers will be making moves between series, while others will be staying put.

For the purposes of this piece, we are going to be focusing on the Xfinity Series, which will see some drivers move on.

Most notably, AJ Allmendinger and Cole Custer will be heading back to the Cup Series, so while we await the odds for the 2025 Xfinity Series season, let’s take a look at some drivers who could be in the championship hunt.

Justin Allgaier

It was a long time coming, but Justin Allgaier finally got his hands on that elusive championship trophy at the end of the 2024 season.

Over the course of a successful career in the Xfinity Series, Allgaier had come close so many times, always coming up short in the Championship Round.

He put that to rest with a win in Phoenix in the final race of the season, and he will now be looking to build on that and make it 2 in a row.

Allgaier is always going to be among the leaders, so he is definitely worth taking a look at as a potential repeat champion in 2025.

Austin Hill

During his time with the Xfinity Series, Hill has made a habit of winning early in the season, only to see his form fizzle out somewhat in the second half.

He shook that off a little bit in 2024, winning a race in the playoffs, which helped take him to the Championship Round for the first time.

Hill did eventually have to settle for 4th place overall, but you still feel that the experience earned from going to the final four will serve him well moving forward.

Furthermore, he will be one to watch in 2025.

Chandler Smith

When looking for drivers to wager on for a championship win, you often look at their progression over the years.

Smith is still relatively new to the Xfinity Series, but he has finished higher in the standings with each passing season, with his 5th place finish in 2024 the best of his short career.

The next step will be to make it to the Championship Round, and if Smith can do that in the upcoming 2025 season, there is no reason why he cannot go on and win it all.

Sheldon Creed

Creed is another driver making a move this off season, and while he will stay with the Xfinity Series, he will be making the jump to replace Cole Custer, which could well mean getting behind the wheel of a better vehicle.

Sheldon won a championship in the Truck Series before making the move to the Xfinity Series, and while he has yet to make it to the Championship Round at this level, he too has improved year-on-year, culminating in a 6th place overall finish last season.

He is another one to watch this coming season.
