With just 3 weeks remaining in the NFL season, we have reached crunch time for many teams. MyBookie Sportsbook NFL Odds, American Football NFL Lines | Indianapolis Colts at Atlanta Falcons
We have a few that have already clinched a playoff spot, as well as a few that are now officially eliminated. Nestled between those two groups is a large number of teams that are still very much alive in the battle for those coveted postseason spots. The Indianapolis Colts and the Atlanta Falcons are in that larger group, but perhaps more importantly, both teams still have a shot at winning their respective divisions and landing a much better seeding once the playoffs actually begin. It goes without saying that this is an absolutely massive game for both teams, as they could both also miss out on the playoffs altogether. The Falcons are favored by a single point, with the O/U set at 44 ½.

Indianapolis Colts
When you have your starting QB go out for the season with an injury, things tend to look more than a little bleak. That is what happened to the Colts, with Anthony Richardson seeing his rookie season end with a shoulder injury. Gardner Minshew has stepped in, and the Colts have not missed a beat, moving to 8-6 this season, tied at the top of the South with the suddenly ice-cold Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts have won 5 of their last 6 games and are an impressive 15-2 SU in their last 17 meetings with the Atlanta Falcons. They have also won in 8 of their last 9 trips to the ATL. The Colts have also been a good bet against the spread, covering in 6 of their last 7 games against the Falcons, as well as in 5 of their last 6. The OVER has hit in 6 of the last 7 games against non-conference teams.

Atlanta Falcons
Given the current state of the NFC and the fact that the Falcons are just 6-8 heading into this weekend, Atlanta probably needs to win out to nab the division and make the playoffs. It certainly doesn’t help that they have lost 2 in a row, with both of those defeats coming at the hands of division rivals. A loss here could well mean the end of the season, at least in terms of making the playoffs, for the Falcons, so the pressure is very much on. We have already spoken about their poor showing over the years versus the Colts, but this is also a team that has won just twice in their last 7 games, although they are 6-3 SU in their last 9 games played in Week 16. They are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 overall, and just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games. The UNDER has hit in 7 of their last 8 games played in the month of December.

Colts vs Falcons NFL Odds, Expert Pick and Score Prediction
I went back and forth on this one quite a bit before settling on a pick. I am concerned about the injury issues the Colts have at the moment, but momentum seems to be very much on their side, so I am taking them to win and cover this weekend.
