Denver vs. Miami Odds and Betting Prediction for NFL Week 3

In Week 3 of the National Football League, the Denver Broncos are set to venture south to Miami for an intriguing matchup against the Dolphins. This contest pits the winless Denver Broncos against the undefeated Miami Dolphins, adding to the intrigue. It also marks the Broncos’ inaugural road game of the season and the first home game for Miami.

The Broncos have endured a tough start to the season, falling short in both opening games. They suffered a narrow 17-16 loss to the Raiders in the season opener and were edged out 35-33 by Washington in Week Two. As it stands, the Denver Broncos find themselves at the bottom of the AFC West with an 0-2 record.

In contrast, the Miami Dolphins have made a strong start, securing victories in their season opener against the Chargers and a Sunday Night win against the Patriots. The Miami Dolphins are -7 over Denver in this game, with a total set at 47 points.

New Broncos the Same as the Old Broncos?

The Denver Broncos‘ misfortunes seem to persist as they navigate the early stages of the 2023 season. Despite hopes of a turnaround following a dismal 2022 campaign, the situation remains challenging with Sean Payton at the helm.

While the Broncos displayed offensive prowess by putting up 33 points, their defense faltered, resulting in a heartbreaking two-point loss to Washington. Remarkably, the Broncos have now experienced losses in games with both 33 and 68 total points.

Russell Wilson has been a bright spot, delivering strong performances in the opening two games. Wilson boasts impressive stats, completing 45 of 66 passes for 485 yards and five touchdowns. His interception count remains low, standing at just one. Cortland Sutton has emerged as his primary target, with 12 receptions this season, nine of which have resulted in receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Additionally, Marvin Mims Jr. contributed a long touchdown reception in the recent loss. The running game, however, has seen Javonte Williams struggle, averaging just 3.84 yards per carry and failing to reach the end zone thus far.

Miami High-Speed Attack Back Home

For the Dolphins, Josh McDaniels couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2023 season. Following Tua Tagovailoa’s impressive performance, where he threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over the Chargers, Raheem Mostert emerged as a standout, racing into the end zone for two crucial touchdowns in the win against the Patriots.

Tyreek Hill, although not heavily utilized in the Week Two triumph, has already amassed 255 yards and scored three touchdowns over the course of two games. Their remarkable performances have naturally catapulted both Tagovailoa and Hill into discussions as potential favorites in the NFL MVP Odds race, given their explosive starts to the season.

Mostert’s dominant showing on Sunday Night included a remarkable 121 rushing yards along with his two touchdowns, while Tagovailoa contributed with 249 passing yards. The Dolphins, riding this wave of success, are poised for their next home game before bracing themselves for a monumental Week 4 showdown on the road against the Buffalo Bills.

It’s safe to assume that the Miami Dolphins’ odds will likely remain favorable until they provide evidence to the oddsmakers to the contrary.

Dolphins Remain Unbeaten

It is hard to envision a scenario where the Denver Broncos stay in this game. The Broncos defense has let them down this season. This has not been Russell Wilson or even Sean Payton’s fault. Until the Denver defense improves, this team is not going anywhere anytime soon. The Dolphins throw up 30+ points and win this game easily.
