MMA Betting Preview for Professional Fighter’s League Week 2
PFL Week 2 Betting Preview
- Date: February 25
- Time: 9 PM EST
- Location: Universal Studios, Orlando, FL, US
- Watch on: fubo TV
Jarrah Al-Silawi (16-3-0) vs Michael Lilly (7-6-0)
Al-Silawi enters this matchup with a three-fight winning streak dating back to April of last year. He has a lot of experience under his belt in comparison to his current opponent. Lilly is coming off of a first-round submission loss to Dilano Taylor back in September of 2020. This snapped his previous four-fight winning streak.
Dilano Taylor (7-1-0) vs Mark Martin (7-1-0)
Taylor is currently sporting a six-fight winning streak dating back to December of 2019. He has put on an impressive string of victories in Titan FC which have been pleasing to watch for fans. Martin also has a six-fight winning streak on the line, beginning in 2019. His recent success could be enough to show fans he is ready for a new contract.
Carlos Leal (14-3-0) vs Socrates Pierre (12-6-0)
Leal enters this fight with an eight-fight winning streak on the line. He has been excellent in his recent battles and is coming off a unanimous decision victory. Pierre has a two-fight winning streak in his favor. He might have just enough to pull an upset here but he will have to be perfect.
Chris Mixan (2-0) vs Nathan Pierce (3-1-0)
Mixan and Pierce could be one of the toss-up battles on the night. Pierce has a couple more battles in his professional career, so a little more experience could work in his favor. However, Mixan has a solid 5-0 record in amateur results and is a solid boxer.
Odds for Week 2
The market is showing the following matchups on the night with some heavy favorites. For the moneyline, MyBookie has the current odds placed at:
- Jarrah Al-Silawi (-650) vs Michael Lilly (+425)
- Dilano Taylor (-215) vs Mark Martin (+175)
- Carlos Leal (-390) vs Socrates Pierre (+290)
- Chris Mixan (-215) vs Nathan Pierce (+175)
Potential Winning Picks
Al-Silawi can take this battle however he wants to go about it, as his resume shows that he is very balanced. Most likely, it could end in a striking war within the second round.
Taylor has a slight advantage here, only because he appears to have battled against more quality opponents and looked great in Titan FC recently. This could be just enough to score a decision.
Leal is the better all-around fighter, but he will have moments against Pierre that are going to challenge him. Still, if he does not finish it by TKO then the decision is likely.
Mixan looks like the better choice here. With his background in amateur results against quality opponents, he should pull through by TKO.
- Jarrah Al-Silawi (-650)
- Dilano Taylor (-215)
- Carlos Leal (-390)
- Chris Mixan (-215)
