MyBookie EPL Odds, Preview & Wagers, with Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in the Battle for 2nd place

MyBookie EPL Odds, Preview & Wagers, with Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in the Battle for 2nd place

How are the MyBookie EPL Odds? We are very much now into the second half of the English Premier League season, with the race for the title beginning to heat up.

We have seen some of the top teams in the league go through rough patches, save for Liverpool, so you have to wonder if their rough period of play is still to come or if they are simply going to continue rolling all the way to the title.

MyBookie EPL Odds & Matchday 24 Analysis

We will get into that a little later in this piece, but it is worth noting that winning the EPL title is not the only thing to discuss here.

We also need to talk about relegation, the teams that might make it into European competitions, as well as a few other details.

The reality, though, is that the main focus is on the top of the table and the race to finish first, with Liverpool now very much in place as the team to beat.

There are a couple of contenders to look at, but we aren’t really seeing any other teams get on a hot run of form that might help them close the gap.

With all of that said, this might be the perfect time to look at some future wagers you can make now, so let’s get into that before we get to the EPL Matchday 24 game previews.

MyBookie EPL Odds, Props and Future Bets in the Matchday 24

If you look at the current odds to win the English Premier League, you get the definite sense that we are looking at a 2-horse race. Liverpool is the clear favorite to win it all, sitting 6 points clear at the top and still with a game in hand.

They are currently at odds of -575 to win it all. Next is Arsenal at +350 and Manchester City at +1575.

At the bottom of the table, we will have 3 teams relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. Southampton, who are dead last in the league, look certain to make the drop, as witnessed by their current odds of -50000 to be relegated.

That leaves 2 spots still to be filled, with Leicester -1099 and Ipswich -429 deemed the most likely to go down, although Leicester climbed away from the bottom 3 with a win over Tottenham this past weekend.

Finally, you can also wager on who you believe will finish the season as the top scorer in the EPL.

Mo Salah (+141) is leading the way with 19 goals to this point, but Erling Haaland (+112) and Alexander Isak (+620) are both within striking distance. I still think that Isak is worth a shot at those odds, as he is on a tear at the moment.

Matchday 24 Previews and Predictions

Nottingham Forest +137 vs Brighton +170 (Draw +246)

EPL Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton
When: Saturday, February 1, 2025, 6:30 AM

The biggest turnaround this season has been by Nottingham Forest, who have gone from just avoiding relegation last year to a title contender this season. They are unlikely to catch Liverpool, though, with a 5-0 loss to Bournemouth over the weekend definitely hurting their cause. That loss saw Forest drop to 3rd in the table, 9 points behind the leaders. Brighton is sitting in 9th in the table, but they are also still within reach of the European places, although they do need to improve on their form. They saw a 2-game win streak come to an end with a loss this past weekend.

Bournemouth +330 vs Liverpool -150 (Draw +300)

MyBookie EPL Odds & Prediction: Bournemouth 0-3 Liverpool
When: Saturday, February 1, 2025, 9:00 AM

We are all sitting around waiting to see if Liverpool is going to slip up at some point but given that they have lost just once this season, it is tough to imagine that they might be about to go on a losing run. Over the last 5 games, they have won 3 and drawn 2, scoring 14 and surrendering just 4 goals during that run. Bournemouth has their eye on a European spot, as they are just 1 point out of the top 4 and have a chance to get into the Champions League. Their 5-0 win over Forest this past weekend served notice that they are not going to be an easy out for the teams sitting above them right now.

Newcastle -157 vs Fulham +370 (Draw +295)

EPL Prediction: Newcastle 3-1 Fulham
When: Saturday, February 1, 2025, 9:00 AM

With the chances of any team outside the top 2 or 3 running down Liverpool for the title, the teams sitting outside of those top spots will have all their attention on nabbing a European spot. Newcastle has to be considered a threat to get into the top 4, as they are tied for 4th with Manchester City, although just behind the champions on goal difference. They rebounded from a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Bournemouth to rout Southampton this past weekend. Fulham saw their European hopes take a hit with a 1-0 loss to Manchester United on Sunday, a loss that saw them move to 10th in the table.

Manchester United +105 vs Crystal Palace +244 (Draw +230)

EPL Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Crystal Palace
When: Sunday, February 2, 2025, 8:00 AM

It has been somewhat sad to watch the demise of Manchester United over the past few seasons, but you cannot deny that they are always interesting to watch. They helped their cause a little with a 1-0 win over Fulham this past weekend, but it was an incredibly dull game with little in the way of scoring opportunities. They will be back home this Sunday, where the pressure to win always seems greater, against a Crystal Place side that is 2 points behind them in the middle of the table. Palace saw a good run of form come to an end with a 2-1 loss to Brentford over the weekend.

^

Arsenal +104 vs Manchester City +226 (Draw +250)

MyBookie EPL Odds & Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Manchester City
When: Sunday, February 2, 2025, 10:30 AM

The biggest game of the weekend is the last match on the Matchday 24 schedule. The harsh reality is that both teams need a win to keep their title hopes alive, with both realizing that a draw does little to help, especially if Liverpool goes out and wins again as expected. Arsenal is unbeaten in their last 5 games, but they still made up zero ground on the leaders, who posted the same record over that stretch. Manchester City has been a shadow of their former selves over the past couple of months, but they are showing signs of life, winning 4 of their last 5 games and drawing the other.

Then, Chelsea hosts Southampton and Man City takes on Nottingham Forest. On Sunday, United hosts Leicester before Tottenham welcomes West Ham to London. Keep reading for Premier League odds, analysis, and a free pick for six of this weekend’s best soccer matches.

English Premier League Games Betting Opportunities: EPL Matchweek 24

Aston Villa +360 vs. Arsenal -131

When: Saturday, Feb. 18
Where: Villa Park, Birmingham, UK

Time: 7:30 AM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

Neither team is playing well. The road squad Gunners have 2 losses and a draw in their last 5. The draw happened in Arsenal’s last, a 1-1 match versus Brentford.

Aston has lost 2 straight to Leicester City and Man City. In the last head-to-head, Arsenal beat Aston Villa 2-1. The Gunners have a chance to maintain their Premier League lead. Arsenal won’t fail.

Soccer Pick: Arsenal

Chelsea -1.5 +112 vs. Southampton +1.5 -143

When: Saturday, Feb. 18
Where: Stanford Bridge, London, UK

Time: 10:00 AM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

The Blues and road dog Southampton are moving in opposite directions. Southampton has lost 4-of-5. The good news if you’re looking to back Southampton on the handicap is that only 1 loss was by more than a goal.

Chelsea shows a win and 3 draws in their last 4. On Wednesday, the Blues take on Dortmund. Keep that game in mind when you handicap this one. Win or lose, though, the payout makes Chelsea worth a few bucks to cover the handicap.

Soccer Pick: Chelsea -1.5

Nottingham Forest +1.5 -110 vs. Manchester City -1.5 -114

When: Saturday, Feb. 18
Where: West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, UK

Time: 10:00 AM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

This happens at The City Ground in Nottingham, which should give the massive dog a slight advantage. However, the Sky Blues may have turned around the form in their last.

Man City beat Aston Villa 3-1. In their last 5, City shows 4 wins, including a victory over Arsenal, to a single loss. The Sky Blues should beat Nottingham by at least 2.

Soccer Pick: Manchester City -1.5

Newcastle United +142 vs. Liverpool +183

When: Saturday, Feb. 18
Where: St. James Park, London, UK

Time: 12:30 PM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

On Feb. 13, the Reds broke a 2-game losing streak with a 2-0 home victory against Everton. The win could be a sign that Pool has turned around the form.

Or it could be meaningless. Liverpool has played great games before and then failed in their very next contest. Newcastle is more consistent. The home team in this shows 3 draws and 2 wins in their last 5. The home team is the play.

Soccer Pick: Newcastle United

Manchester United -172 vs. Leicester City +430

When: Sunday, Feb. 19
Where: Old Trafford, London, UK

Time: 9:00 AM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

Heading into Thursday’s Europa League contest versus Barcelona, Man United has won 4-of-5 with a draw. The Red Devils are playing excellent soccer.

However, Leicester is also playing well. LC is on a 3-match winning streak. Leicester blasted Tottenham 4-1 in their last. Although this happens at Old Trafford, the odds make the road team an overlay.

Soccer Pick: Leicester City

Tottenham Hotspur -124 vs. West Ham United +330

When: Sunday, Feb. 19
Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, UK

Time: 11:30 AM EST
TV: NBC, USA Network, NBCSports.com and Peacock

Since a Feb. 5 upset win against Man City, Tottenham has struggled. The Hotspur lost to Leicester and then AC Milan beat the Hotspur in a Champions League match on Tuesday.

West Ham has 2 wins and 2 straight draws in their last 4. The road underdog in this is playing well enough to force a third straight tie. The draw is playable.

Soccer Pick: Draw
