Alison Riske could pose an issue for Williams to move on in the tournament, though.
Riske heads into this match off a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory against 1-seed Ashleigh Barty. She can, no doubt, take it to Serena here. Williams should be favored, but she seems over played at the odds. At the odds, Riske is worth backing.

Shua Zhang vs Simona Halep

Against Yasstremska, Zhang lost the second set 1-6. Although she bounced back with a third set and match win, it showed she can lose her concentration.
Halep figures to jump all over that fact. Simona dominated 15-year-old Cori Gauff 6-3, 6-3 in her fourth round victory. Gauff had beaten Venus Williams in the first round. She couldn’t hang with Halep on Monday. Simona takes this in straight sets.

Karolina Muchova vs Elina Svitolina

In Round 4, Elina Svitolina beat an excellent tennis player in Petra Martic. Martic was a dark horse to win the Wimbledon Championship this year. She had played great up until her fourth round match versus Elina.
Muchova got past 3-seed Karoline Pliskova on July 8, but she had to work hard to do it. Muchova won 4-6, 7-5, 13-11. She figures to be too tired to handle Svitolina a day later after laying it all on the line to take down another top women’s tennis player. Back Svitolina to cash.

Johanna Konta vs Barboa Strykova

Johanna Konta should be favored. She’s beaten Sloane Stephens and Petra Kvitova to make it to the quarterfinals. She most definitely has the talent to win Wimbledon. But, has had to play two straight three set matches. Stephens and Kvitova both won the first sets in those matches.
Strykova hadn’t lost a set before the fourth round. She beat Kiki Bertens, the 4-seed, 7-5, 6-1 in Round 3. Although Elisa Mertens won the first set 6-4, Strykova bounced back to win the next two sets to set up this match with Konta. Strykova can upset Konta on Tuesday. She deserves to be the play.
