Heroic vs FaZe Clan

  • When: Wednesday, November 24 – 15:00 CEST

Heroic have recently reached the semi-finals of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which is quite an achievement for a team the seemed to be in shambles just last month. Similarly, FaZe Clan had their moments in Sweden, going 3-0 in the New Challengers Stage; however, they fell apart in the New Legends Stage, where FaZe went 2-3.

Admittedly, FaZe had a tough schedule, and while they took down Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid, they couldn’t make it happen against Copenhagen Flames, G2 Esports, and Virtus.pro. FaZe struggled to deliver to the expectations for a while now, which is concerning; however, this is still a stacked roster that should find some traction sooner or later.

The bookmakers have Heroic priced as the favorites, which makes sense. The Danish squad have achieved far more than FaZe of late, and seem to be in great form.

However, that doesn’t mean that Heroic will have an easy time on Wednesday, knowing that FaZe are 1-0 up in the head-to-head in 2021. This is one of those matches that can easily go both ways, and while there is no way of telling who will win, we can be certain that this won’t be a one-sided affair.

Expect a close match and take over 2.5 maps!

Prediction: Over 2.5 maps

Natus Vincere vs BIG

  • When: Wednesday, November 24 – 17:00 CEST

The reigning Major champions and the current no.1 team in the world, Natus Vincere, will clash with BIG, in the opening round of BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021. These two teams last met at the end of August when BIG swept NaVi 2-0, with 16-11 on Dust II and 16-7 on Mirage.

It marked BIG’s second head-to-head victory of the year, having lost their first meeting in June with 0-2. The head-to-head record between these two teams in 2021 shows 1-1; however, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Similarly, we wouldn’t overvalue BIG’s success from August because things have changed, largely for the better for NaVi.

The Ukrainian squad are the undisputed best team in the world, and their incredible run through the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 earlier this month would confirm that. NaVi became the first team in history to not lose a single game en route to the Major title, which alone is a strong testament to how good this team really is.

BIG have had some moments over the year, but they haven’t come close to reaching the same heights as NaVi. What’s more, BIG have been fairly disappointing since they parted ways with XANTARES, and while they are still a decent team, BIG simply can’t compare to the top-tier teams such as NaVi.

This should be a fairly straightforward win for Natus Vincere, who have not shown anything that would make us doubt in their ability to close it out in two maps. Take the reigning Major champions to win 2-0!

Prediction: Natus Vincere to win 2-0
