Rackley Roofing 200: Odds, Analysis & Predictions for the Truck Series Race

The regular season is winding down in the Truck Series, with just 4 races remaining before we get to the playoffs and the Round of 10.

That is not a lot of time for those below the cut line to get into the postseason, so these final 4 races are going to be huge for every driver.

My Analysis

Even at the top, the goal is to finish as high as possible so that making it through the first couple of rounds is a little easier, although certainly not guaranteed.

This weekend, the action shifts to Nashville for the running of the Rackley Roofing 200. We are going to take a look at some of the major players in the Truck Series, with predictions as to how they might finish. This race starts at 8 PM on Friday night and you cant get the latest Truck Winners odds in MyBookie Sportsbook.

Christian Eckes

Let’s start by talking about the possibility of Eckes getting on the podium in this race. He is currently at the top of the driver standings and is on a run of 7 straight races where he finished in the top 10.

He had 1 win during that stretch, as well as 2 more where he finished in the top 3. That’s a pretty good stretch of races, and he is coming off a 2nd place finish in the most recent Truck Series race.

His best finish in Nashville over the past couple of seasons is 6th, so it might still be a bit of a risk to take him to land in the top 3.

Corey Heim

If you are looking to play the hot hand in the Truck Series right now, then you have to take a look at Corey Heim. He has 4 wins in the last 8 races, which includes 2 victories in the last 3.

The question now is whether he can keep that streak alive in Nashville. He finished 4th in this race last season, so when you combine that with his current form, you get a driver that is certainly worth taking a shot on to win.

At the very least, I would be looking at Heim to land in the top 3 this Friday night.

Nicholas Sanchez

This is just the 2nd season in the Truck Series for Sanchez, and you have to say that he is making a big impact. He finished 6th overall last season, and he is very much in the conversation to win it all this season.

He opened 2024 with a win, and while he cooled off for a few races after that, he quickly turned that around. Likewise, he has finished no worse than 7th in the last 7 races and has been in the top 3 in back-to-back races.

I think he looks like a good bet to keep that streak alive, especially since he landed in the top 3 in Nashville last year.

Ty Majeski

Majeski has made his way to 4th in the driver standings, and while that is a good place to be, he still has to be considered something of a betting risk.

He has just 1 win over the last 2 seasons and is still looking for his first checkered flag of the 2024 season. He has been on the podium 3 times this season, but has not landed in that spot in his 2 previous runs in Nashville.

2023 Rackley Roofing 200

Believe it or not, we are getting down to critical time in the NASCAR Truck Series season, with just 4 races to come before we get the first cut and head into the playoffs with the top 10 drivers. The first of those races comes this weekend in Nashville with the running of the Rackley Roofing 200. Given where we are right now, the top few drivers look to be safe, but things get a good deal tighter in the standings the closer you get to the cut line. Points are more valuable than ever at this stage of the season, so expect some drama this weekend. Let’s take a look at the current NASCAR odds for the Rackley Roofing 200.

Zane Smith

NASCAR Truck Series Odds: +224

The defending champion may be in as the favorite for this race, but his recent form makes him a bit of a risky bet. Smith came flying out of the gate, winning 2 of the first 4 races of the season, but he has not won since then. In fact, over the last 4 races, his best finish was a 20th place run at Gateway in the previous race. There is a feeling that he can snap out of this funk, but will he be able to do it this weekend? He has finished in the top 5 in Nashville in each of the last 2 years, including a 2nd place finish last year.

Corey Heim

NASCAR Truck Series Odds: +380

Heim comes into this weekend with the lead in the driver standings, but he only has that lead by a single point, so there is no guarantee he will still be there after this weekend. Where he is at right now might come as a surprise to many, as this is Heim’s first full-time season with the Truck Series. He has just 1 win on the year, but he has made a habit of landing in the top 10, which means consistently picking up points. Heim finished 33rd in Nashville last season, but I think we can expect a whole lot better this time around.

Ty Majeski

NASCAR Truck Series Odds: +400

It is possible to win a championship without winning a race and Majeski is proving that this season. He is sitting 2nd overall in the driver standings despite not taking a single checkered flag in the 2023 season. He has been consistently among the leaders this season, landing on the podium 3 times already and has the most top 5 finishes (6) of any driver in the Truck Series. When you consider those results, as well as his 4th place finish in Nashville last season, he has to be considered a threat this weekend.

Grant Enfinger

NASCAR Truck Series Odds: +550

The big question this week is whether or not Enfinger can make it back-to-back winning weekends after taking the checkered flag at Gateway last time out. That was the 2nd win of the year for Enfinger and it helped move him up to #3 in the driver standings. He had a pretty horrible run in Nashville last season, finishing well off the pace, but his current form suggests that he might be in the hunt this weekend. A top 5 finish seems like a good bet to me.
