The UFC is home to the best of the best in the world of MMA, which means we can expect a high-quality event just about every weekend. The ante is upped, though, when the UFC delivers one of their numbered events, as that usually means we are in for some huge fights, as well as a title bout at the top of the main card. That is what we have to look forward to this Saturday night at UFC 289, where we have a pretty spectacular 5-fight main card, which will be capped off with a battle for the Women’s Bantamweight Championship. There is a lot to look forward to hers, so let’s take a quick look at the main card for your UFC betting, which is set to begin at 7 PM EST.

When: Saturday at 7 PM EST
Where: Rogers Arena, Vancouver

Eryk Anders (+112) Vs Marc-Andre Barriault (-142)
We open up the main card with a Middleweight bout between a pair of fighters who have been a little unpredictable of late. Anders is coming off a win, but that snapped a 2-fight losing streak. He is now 15-7 overall. Barriault is 15-6, but he too has had some problems staying consistent in recent bouts, going 3-2 over his last 5 and failing to win 2 in a row during that stretch. I like this one to go the distance, with Barriault getting the nod.
UFC 289 Pick: Marc-Andre Barriault | Bet UFC Today

Dan Ige (-263) Vs Nate Landwehr (+198)
We have a pair of Featherweights stepping into the octagon next, with one of them looking to get back on a more solid footing. That would be Ige, who is coming off a win that snapped a 3-fight losing streak. No such issues for Landwehr, who has won 3 in a row and 4 of his last 5 to move to an impressive 17-4 overall. This should be a good battle, but I like Ige to take it with the KO win.
UFC 289 Pick: Dan Ige | Bet UFC Today

Mike Malott (-208) Vs Adam Fugitt (+160)
We have what looks to be a very evenly matched Welterweight bout coming up next. Malott has been outstanding in his time as a pro, going 9-1-1, which includes a 2-0 record with the UFC. That’s solid enough, but he will have a tough time against Fugitt, who is 9-2 overall, although just 1-1 with the UFC. Both fighters are looking to improve their reputation in the organization, but I think it will be Malott who gets the win.

Charles Oliveira (+118) Vs Beneil Dariush (-151)
The co-main event of the night is a beauty, as it features the #2 and #3 ranked fighters in the Lightweight division. Oliveira is looking to bounce back after losing the belt last time out, snapping a 12-fight win streak in the process. Dariush is 22-4-1 and on an 8-fight win streak that has him on the brink of a title shot, which he will almost certainly get with a win here. Coin flip in this one, but I am taking Dariush.

Amanda Nunes (-322) Vs Irene Aldana (+237)
We close the night put with a battle for the Women’s Bantamweight Championship, with Nunes coming in as the defending champion. Nunes is an impressive 22-5 overall and won the belt with a rematch over Julianna Pena last time out. Aldana is 14-6 overall, which includes a 7-4 record under the UFC banner. She is a tough fighter, and while she will provide a serious challenge, I think Nunes retains the belt.
