    • Where: UFC Apex, Las Vegas, NV

Krysztof Jotko -170 vs Gerald Meerschaert +145

The underdog has a real shot to win this. Meerschaert has a decent 34-14 record. He’s 6-3 via knockout or technical knockout wins and 26-8 via submission victories. Also, the underdog heads into this on a 4-match winning streak.

Jotko is 23-5. Although he’s got the better record, the chalk hasn’t won a bout via knockout or submission in his last 4. He won a split-decision in his last. Backing Meerschaert makes sense.

UFC Pick: Gerald Meerschaert

Darren Elkins -175 vs Tristan Connelly +150

At 27-10, favored Elkins has much more experience than 14-7 Tristan Connelly. Elkins isn’t fighting his best, though, going 2-3 in his last 5 bouts. Cub Swanson knocked out Elkin in the first round in Darren’s last.

Pat Sabbatini beat Connelly in the underdog’s last. Connelly fell via unanimous decision. It was Tristan’s first fight since 2019. So we can’t hold it against him. At the odds, Connelly is a great play.

UFC Pick: Tristan Connelly

Jared Gordon +155 vs Grant Dawson -180

18-4 Jared Gordon faces a top opponent in 17-1-1 Grant Dawson. Gordon versus Dawson should be one of Saturday night’s most competitive main card bouts.

The underdog has won 3 straight and 4-of-5. But Dawson hasn’t lost since 2016. He’s also an inch taller and has a 4-inch reach advantage. The MMA odds make Gordon playable, but it’s difficult seeing Jared getting the win. The ref raises Dawson’s hand.

UFC Pick: Grant Dawson

Andre Fili -220 vs Joanderson Brito +180

21-8 chalk Andre Fili has a couple of physical advantages over the 12-3-1 Brito. Fili is 3 inches taller. The favorite also has a 2-inch reach advantage.

But although Fili is the favorite, and he has some advantages, he isn’t in his best form. Fili shows a win, 2 losses, and a no contest draw in his last 5.

Bill Algeo beat Brito in his last bout via unanimous decision. Before the loss, Brito had won 4 straight. The dog is worth a look.

UFC Pick: Joanderson Brito

Andrei Arlovski -150 vs Jake Collier +125

Veteran Andrei Arlovski has more experience than maybe anyone else fighting at UFC. Arlovski’s record doesn’t look great, 33-20, but “The Pitbull” has thrown down against some of the best in MMA history.

Arlovski heads into this on a 3-match winning streak. Jake Collier is 13-6. Collier has won 2 and lost 2 in his last 4. There’s a pattern with the underdog where he wins a bout and then loses a bout. Arlovski takes this.

UFC Pick: Andrei Arlovski

Rob Font -130 vs Marlon Vera +110

Before losing to legend Jose Aldo via unanimous decision in his last bout, favorite Rob Font had won 4 straight. Font hasn’t fought a lot in the past few years, though. So his backers believe the loss to Aldo was due primarily to being off for so long.

Vera has won 2 straight. In his last bout, Marlon knocked out Frankie Edgar, another legendary UFC fighter, in the third-round. Vera offers overlay odds. He’s 7-0 via TKO or KO wins and 8-0 via submission victories. The dog bites.

UFC Pick: Marlon Vera
