While much of the attention this weekend is going to be on March Madness, there is a whole lot more than just that going on in the world of sports. In fact, it is a pretty big weekend in motor sports, as there are several different events vying for your betting attention. The action has already started for the WRC, but we will get into that in just a minute. As always, we have a number of different NASCAR races, as well as the next race in the Formula 1 schedule on Sunday. There is a lot to break down here, so let’s take a look at all the motor sports picks action coming your way this weekend.

WRC
Like I mentioned at the top of this piece, the WRC Rally in Mexico is already underway, but this is an event that runs all the way through until Sunday, so you will still have an opportunity to get a wager on before it all ends. We are only 2 races into the season at the moment and things are still tight at the top. It is Ott Tanak who is in the lead after the opening races of the season, but he has Kalle Rovanpera breathing down his neck, just 3 points off the pace. This should be another good one, so be sure to check it out and maybe make a bet.

The NASCAR train is pulling into Atlanta this weekend for 3 races, one from each series. The action begins on Friday night with the running of the Fr8 208 in the Truck Series. The top 4 drivers in the Truck Series are separated by just 4 points, although we are still early in the season, and it is Zane Smith currently leading the way.
On Saturday, we see the focus shift to the Xfinity Series and the running of the Raptor 250. It is Austin Hill who is setting a torrid pace in the early part of the season, winning 2 of the 4 races to this point and not yet finishing outside the top 10 in any of those races. There is a long way to go, though, and there are a several drivers who can challenge him this weekend.
The NASCAR weekend ends on Sunday, with the Cup Series swinging back into action with the running of the Ambetter Health 400. William Byron nabbed his 2nd win of the season last weekend in Phoenix, so he is definitely going to be one to watch on Sunday. That said, no driver has really taken control in the early going, so this one could be wide open.

Formula 1
The 2nd race of the season is set to go on Sunday afternoon with the running of the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. The big question heading into this one is whether anyone can loosen the grip that Max Verstappen now has on the sport. For years, it was Lewis Hamilton who proved almost impossible to beat, but it is all Verstappen now, as he has won it all 2 years running and got the new season off to a winning start in Bahrain. At this point, it feels almost foolish to bet against him in any race.
