Weekend Games to Bet On in the NBA

NBA Games: Saturday, March 11

Milwaukee Bucks @ Golden State Warriors

Odds: Golden State +110, Milwaukee -2 -130 O/U 238
When: Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: Chase Center, San Francisco, CA
TV / Streaming: ESPN

The Golden State Warriors are a hard team to figure out. When they play at home, they look like one of the best teams in the league, but when they play on the road, they look like one of the worst teams in the league. Fortunately for them, they’ll be at home on Saturday night when they host the Eastern Conference-leading Milwaukee Bucks.

Milwaukee is the hottest team in the NBA right now. Winners of 19 of their last 20, the Bucks now have a 2.5-game lead in the Eastern Conference over the Boston Celtics, and currently have the best record in the NBA. This primetime affair should be a good gauge of how ready both teams are for the upcoming playoffs.

Golden State has a 27-7 record at home, while the Bucks have a very good 20-12 road record. Both teams have very good offenses, so there should be a lot of points scored in this one. The Warriors average just over 118 points per game, while the Bucks average just over 115 per contest.

The big question in this one will be the availability of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks star has missed games due to a hand injury and is listed as questionable for this one. This will be something to closely monitor prior to the game.

The Bucks are 9-0 in their last nine road games, and are 6-3 in their last nine games against the Warriors. The Bucks are also 9-4 against the spread the last 13 times they’ve traveled to Golden State. The last 10 times they’ve met, they’re both 5-5 against the spread.

We’re figuring that if Giannis doesn’t play that the Warriors will be a slight favorite at home. It’s a primetime Saturday night game, and the Warriors tend to show up big in those games. If Giannis isn’t in the lineup we like the Warriors. If he is, take a look at the spread and see what you think.

Sacramento Kings @ Phoenix Suns

Odds: Sacramento +118, Phoenix -2.5 -140 O/U 233.5
When: Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 9:00 pm ET
Where: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV / Streaming: DirecTV, (NBA TV

One of the biggest surprises in the league this season, the Sacramento Kings, will head south to take on the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. This will be a fun matchup, as the Suns have one of the best defenses in the league, while the Kings are one of the highest-scoring teams in the NBA.

Unfortunately for Phoenix, they’ll be without Kevin Durant. Durant injured his ankle warming up earlier this week, and is slated to miss the next couple of weeks of games. Thankfully, Devin Booker has come back from injury and has been scoring at a very high rate.

The Suns have won the two games that these two have played this season. Phoenix is 9-1 against the Pacific Division, while the Kings are just 7-6.

Even without Durant, we see Phoenix being a slight favorite in this one. However, we think that this is the time for the Kings to get a victory over the Suns.
