Very often, the college basketball schedule is a little lighter on Monday after a hectic weekend of action, but with it being a national holiday this Monday, we have a pretty full slate. Picking just one game from the schedule is going to be tough, but that is exactly what we are going to try to do. We will then, as we do every Monday, take a look at the next few days to see if we can pick out some games that should be fun to watch and wager on. We are getting deeper and deeper into the season, so there are a lot of big games coming as teams look to win their way into the tournament. Without further ado, let’s get to the best games of the week so you can get all set and place your bets against the NCAA Basketball Lines.

UC Santa Barbara Gauchos Vs UC Irvine Anteaters – Monday
While there are no ranked teams on the Monday schedule, that does not mean that we don’t have any interesting matchups. We actually have a bit of a rivalry game here, with these two schools just a couple of hours drive apart. They are both battling for supremacy in the Big West Conference, with the Anteaters currently sitting on top with a 5-0 conference record. The Gauchos are hot on their heels at 4-1 in conference play and can tighten things up further with a road win on Monday night. That is going to be no easy task versus a UC Irvine team that is hot right now.
Kansas Jayhawks at Kansas State Wildcats – Tuesday
Speaking of rivalries, we have another big one on Tuesday night, with a pair of ranked teams set to do battle. After a wild weekend that saw a ton of ranked teams lose, with Kansas State in that mix, the Kansas Jayhawks have a legitimate shot at moving into the #1 spot when the rankings are announced later today. They are at 16-1 overall and come into this one on a 10-game win streak. They are also a perfect 5-0 in conference play. The Wildcats are hot on their heels at 4-1, but they will be looking to bounce back on home court after losing their last game.
Arkansas Razorbacks at Missouri Tigers – Wednesday
Both of these teams went into last week ranked in the top 25, but whether they will both still be there later today remains to be seen, as both teams are in dire need of a win. The Razorbacks are on a serious skid, losing 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5, which has them at 1-4 in SEC play. Things are not that much better for the Missouri Tigers, who have lost 2 in a row and 3 of their last 4 to fall to 2-3 in conference play. There is sure to be desperation for both teams, as they need to break out of their respective slumps, which makes this one to watch.
Purdue Boilermakers at Minnesota Golden Gophers – Thursday
The mark of a good team can very often be seen when you get a look at how they respond to adversity. The Purdue Boilermakers recently took their first loss of the season, which dropped them out of their #1 spot, but they have bounced back nicely and have now won each of their last 3 games, moving to 5-1 in conference play. Things are not so bright for Minnesota, who are 1-4 in conference play, but who ended last week with a win. They will make things tough on the Boilermakers in their own building.
