Less than a week ago, we started with 68 teams, and now we’re down to 16. We’ve had numerous upsets, including a #1 team eliminated. We also have a #15 seed in the Sweet 16. Now that we’re down to just 16 teams, we can take a closer look at each of the eight games. The oddsmakers have set the point spreads and the over/unders for each game.
We’ve looked over some of the betting numbers and found some things that we like. Here are the games that we like, and we think that you can put them into a parlay and turn a small amount of money into a big chunk of change so you don’t miss your chance to bet against the March Madness Odds!

Purdue Boilermakers (-12.5) vs St. Peter’s Peacocks
St. Peters is the biggest story of the tournament thus far. The 15 seed defeated Kentucky in the first round, and then beat Murray State in the second round. The Peacocks are looking to become the first-ever 15 seed to earn a berth in the Elite Eight.
Standing in their way will be the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue presents a huge challenge for the Peacocks. Purdue is loaded upfront with the 7’4” Zach Edey, along with Trevion Williams. If St. Peters tries to play a zone or sags in on the Purdue bigs, Purdue’s sharpshooters will make them pay. Purdue has torched zones all season long, so St. Peters will have to figure out a way to slow down the stellar Purdue offense.
Shaheen Holloway’s crew has proved everyone wrong thus far, but we see the Cinderella story ending on Friday night. While 12.5 may be a lot of points, we think that Purdue will cover this spread.
Gonzaga Bulldogs vs Arkansas Razorbacks – Over 154.5
Both of these teams are offensive powerhouses. They both play an uptempo style, and they both have star players who can fill the rim. Gonzaga will have Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren, who will both present mismatches for the Arkansas defense. Andrew Nembhard has played well in the first two rounds of the tournament, and we look for him to continue his strong play on the offensive end.
While many experts think that Arkansas should try to slow things down and control the clock against Gonzaga, Eric Musselman isn’t one to back down from a fight. We think the Razorbacks will stick with what got them here, and they’ll fight fire with fire.
Even though both teams are among the top defenses in the country, we see this one turning into a shootout. We wouldn’t be surprised if both teams scored in the 80s.
UCLA Bruins (-2) vs North Carolina Tar Heels
While North Carolina is one of the hottest teams in the country, we’re not sold that they have what it takes to beat UCLA. Even though North Carolina beat top-seeded Baylor on Saturday, they also blew a 25-point lead and had to go into overtime to win the game.
UCLA has a very strong offense led by Johnny Juzang, Tyger Campbell, and Jaime Jacquez. UCLA also has one of the best perimeter defenses in the country, and that will slow down the sharpshooters of UNC.
We like the Bruins to win this one by five points and cover the spread.
