Series History
First of two regular-season meetings between the teams with Nevada going to Boise on March 5. Last year, they split. Boise State won at home 77-62 behind 29 points from Max Rice. Tyson Degenhart scored 15 points while going 6 of 9 and 3 of 5 from the free-throw line and adding six rebounds. Boise State took the lead with 11:31 left in the first half and did not give it up. Nevada leads the all-time series 52-32 and 28-12 at home.
Why Bet on Boise State Broncos?
The Broncos won their third game in a row Tuesday, upsetting No. 17 Colorado State 65-58. The Rams had arguably the worst half of the season with a low 21 points and 10 turnovers, shooting 42.9% percent in the first 20 minutes. While the offense struggled the defense played well holding BSU to 39.3% as CSU trailed 28-21. A 9-0 run in the middle of the second half by Boise State put Colorado State in a hole they were unable to dig out of trailing by as much as 13. Following an Isaiah Stevens layup with 1:33 on the clock, CSU cut the deficit to four but could not score again for the next minute as the Broncos put the game away at the free throw line. Boise State made 11 free throws in the final 3:14 of the game.

The Rams entered the game averaging 8.5 3-pointers a game and were held to four 3-pointers. Boise State is now 8-0 when leading at halftime this season. O’Mar Stanley stuffed the stat sheet to the tune of 17 points, 11 rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block. Tyson Degenhart scored 13 points to go along with four boards and two steals. Chibuzo Agbo tallied 13 points, three rebounds and one steal.
Point guard Roddie Anderson III dished out eight assists. Those were his most in a single game as a Bronco, and the most by a Boise State player since Marcus Shaver, Jr., had nine at Wyoming last season (Jan. 14, 2023). It was the third-highest ranked win in program history behind #15 Washington (1998) and #11 Creighton (2012).
“I’m really proud of the guys, we knew it was going to be a battle against Colorado State,” said head coach Leon Rice. “Colorado State has the ranking that it has because it was earned. With that being said, I’m even more proud of how our guys battled, even being down a soldier tonight.”
The Broncos have held the opposition to fewer than 10 offensive rebounds in the last seven games. Boise State’s defensive rebounding efficiency is 23rd nationally, according to KenPom — second in the Mountain West. The Broncos also have held opponents to under 70 points in seven of the last eight games, and eight of the last 10.
On Friday, the Broncos are seeking only their second victory at Lawlor Events Center since the beginning of the 2016-17 season. The last time Boise State won at Lawlor was an 85-70 victory during the Mountain West title season in 2021-22 (Jan. 12, 2022).

Why Bet on Nevada Wolf Pack?
Rather surprising one-loss Nevada isn’t ranked yet with some pretty quality non-conference wins over the likes of Washington, Hawaii, Temple, TCU and Georgia Tech. The Wolf Pack won their eighth straight game Tuesday, 67-54 over Air Force. The Falcons were down double-digits early in the second half before fighting back. Down 10, AFA went on a 10-2 run to get the game down to four at 52-48 with 7:39 to go. Nevada out-scored the Falcons 13-6 the rest of the way to pull away. Air Force was held to a season-low 54 points on just 37.3 percent shooting from the field as Nevada became one of two teams in the country with 15 victories this season.
