Villanova has thee excellent backcourt performers, but so does Oklahoma. He difference in this contest will be sweet-shooting Nova forward Kris Jenkins and powerful big man Daniel Ochefu. The Wildcats have gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4 NCAA Tournament games and a bankroll-boosting 34-15-2 ATS in their last 51 non-conference games while Oklahoma has gone 2-5 ATS in their last seven non-conference games and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games against a team with a winning straight up record. When: 8:49 PM  ET, Saturday, April 2, 2016 Where: NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas Odds: North Carolina -9.5 Total: 149 Analysis: Syracuse (23-13 SU, 20-15 ATS) has been extremely impressive in beating a handful of favored opponents en route to their stunning Final Four berth, but I think Cinderella’s bubble is about to burst against a North Carolina (32-6 SU, 19-18-1 ATS) team that is absolutely loaded with elite talent. The Orange have already lost to the Tar Heels twice this season and I don’t see them being able to avoid a third straight loss as they’ll have to overcome both, a lack of experience and depth. North Carolina has an elite player in forward Brice Johnson that will almost assuredly be the best player on the floor in this contest. While the Orange do have two special players in Michael Gbinjie and Malachi Richardson, they alone won’t be enough to carry Syracuse to victory, especially after seeing the way big men Kennedy Meeks, Isaiah Hicks and Justin Jackson are contributing. Still, I expect Syracuse’s elite defense, not to mention the outstanding coaching of the legendary Jim Boeheim to keep the final score closer than the nearly double-digit spread it currently sits at. While North Carolina has gone 5-0 ATS in their last five games against their Atlantic Coast conference rivals and a near-perfect 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall Syracuse has posted a perfect 4-0 ATS mark in their last fur NCAA Tournament games while also going 5-0 ATS in their last five neutral site games.
