TCU Horned Frogs Betting Preview

TCU ranks 94th in the country in PPG at 75.1. However, they’re far from the most efficient scoring team with an offensive rating of 108.1, tied for 134th in the country. TCU wins with its defense, rebounding, and timely scoring.

The Horned Frogs have the country’s 47th-best defensive rating (97.9) and rank 39th in offensive rebounds with 10.3 per game. Six players average at least three rebounds per game. Forward Emmanuel Miller leads the way in that regard with 6.6 rebounds per game to go along with 12.3 PPG.

Mike Miles, the team’s leading scorer with 17.6 PPG, led TCU past Arizona State on Friday with a game-high 26 points on 6-of-15 shooting, including 2-of-5 from three and 12-of-14 from the free-point line.

Gonzaga Bulldogs Betting Preview

Gonzaga, a perennial favorite in the NCAA Tournament, was as impressive as ever this season and had plenty of momentum heading into the NCAA Tournament. They have now won 10 games in a row, including lopsided victories against San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Saint Mary’s.

Gonzaga plays in a more accessible conference, but they have wins over Michigan State and Kentucky, both of which are in the second round. They also beat Xavier earlier this season and played close games against Baylor and Purdue.

The Bulldogs have a +494 scoring differential this season, outscoring teams by 14.6 points per game. They have the sixth-best three-point scoring efficiency in the country at 38.9 percent. Gonzaga limits opponents to just 34.7 percent from the field.

TCU vs. Gonzaga Betting Odds and Prediction

Gonzaga is a -4.5 favorite for Sunday’s game and paying -204 on the moneyline, while the Horned Frogs are +165 underdogs on the moneyline. The over/under is set at 156.5, with both paying out -110.

The Bulldogs’ three-point shooting should be the difference between two decent defensive teams in a one-game situation. If Gonzaga can hit from three regularly during the game, they should have no trouble covering the -4.5 spread. Take the Bulldogs at -4.5 (-110) for the best value.
