College Basketball Weekend Parlay Picks
Texas Longhorns vs Baylor Bears
The first matchup on our list is from the Big 12 Conference. The Texas Longhorns are on the road to take on the Baylor Bears, fighting for the top spots in the conference standings. This game will tip-off at noon eastern.
The Longhorns come in off two very big wins over Iowa State and Kansas. Texas pulled off the big win over Kansas on Monday night this week and now faces another tough opponent in Baylor. The Longhorns are led by Timmy Allen who averages 11.8 points per game and 6.6 rebounds.
Baylor is struggling as of late for their standards. The defending National Champions are in danger of falling early in the NCAA Tournament. The Bears were routed by Kansas two games ago, creating a lot of doubt around this team from the outside media.
Texas is the team to bet on in this game. They are playing great basketball as of late and have the better guard play in this game. Marcus Carr has been a huge addition for the Longhorns this season and Timmy Allen has been big late.
Ohio State Buckeyes vs Michigan Wolverines
This is not quite as big as the football rivalry, but it is still a very big game nonetheless for both teams. Ohio State is looking to stay in the hunt towards the upper pack of the Big Ten and Michigan is looking to not miss the NCAA Tournament.
Ohio State will be hungry for a win after losing a road game at Rutgers. The Buckeyes have lost two of their last five games and two of their last three. E.J. Liddell is going to have to take his play to an even higher level if Ohio State wants to make a run in the NCAA Tournament.
The Michigan Wolverines are struggling and may miss the NCAA Tournament if they are not careful. In a big game against the Purdue Boilermakers, the fans did not show up to support the team. The Wolverines were favored to win the Big Ten title and that is far from becoming true.
The pick in this game is the Buckeyes. Ohio State will be a small favorite on the road, but this is a game the Buckeyes can win by double digits. Michigan has struggled to play well in big games and play a full 40-minute game. Look for Liddell to control the pace of this game.
Drake Bulldogs vs Bradley Braves
Arguably the mid-major game of the weekend, the Drake Bulldogs head to Peoria, Illinois to take on the Bradley Braves. Both teams are fighting for a good seed in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
Drake is looking for revenge on the Braves, who recently beat the Bulldogs on their home court. Returning the favor would be a big win for Drake because of the tough opponent. Tucker Devries has led the Bulldogs in points per game this season with an average of 13.4 points.
Bradley is playing great basketball as of late, winning five of their last six games. Terry Roberts has been one of the best transfers in Division I basketball this year as he leads the Braves in scoring. As typical of Brian Wardle teams, they are starting to play their best basketball towards the end of the season.
Bradley is the team to bet on here. Led by their great defense, Bradley is being very stingy on that end. They average over six steals a game and rebound the ball well. Look for Bradley to make a run down the stretch of the regular season and conference season.
