Men’s College Basketball Betting Predictions: Top 10 Teams That Could Get Into the AP 25

Many teams are on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament, but what teams can crack the Top-25 in 2022? Being in the Top-25 assures you a spot in the big dance and many teams are striving for that chance. We have a list prepared of 10 teams that can break into the list so you can continue making your bets against the College Basketball Odds

Ten Teams That Can Crack The Top-25 in 2022

Alabama Crimson Tide

As of the latest rankings, the Alabama Crimson Tide would be the next team inside the rankings. They received the most votes last week from those teams not ranked, with 97. Alabama has bounced around this year but still has a chance to crack the Top-25 by picking up a few SEC wins. Their next two games are against Auburn and Kentucky. If they can win both of those games, they will crack the Top-25.

Murray State Racers

At 20-2 on the season and currently first in the Ohio Valley Conference, the Murray State Racers are looking to break through in 2022. The Racers have won 10 games in a row currently and one of their two losses was suffered to Auburn. Do not sleep on the Racers when it comes to selection time for March Madness.

Boise State Broncos

Look out for the Stampede in Boise, as the Broncos are currently leading the Mountain West Conference. With a record of 17-4 on the season, Boise State is ready to make a run to the NCAA Tournament and crack the Top-25 in 2022. Boise State picked up two big wins against Temple and Ole Miss earlier this season. Boise State has the chance to spoil team’s hopes and dreams come march.

Miami Hurricanes

The Miami Hurricanes have found their stride in the middle half of the season, with 12 wins in their last 14 games. The two losses were both suffered at the hands of Florida State, one of the better teams in the ACC. Miami holds a record of 16-5 and is tied with Duke for the top spot in the conference. The Hurricanes are looking to make a run into the NCAA Tournament.

Indiana Hoosiers

The Indian Hoosiers are off to a good start in the first season under new head coach, Mike Woodson. The Hoosiers beat their state rival, the Purdue Boilermakers, in a tight game. Indiana has a few tough losses on the season but also has a few wins that will help the resume as well. Indiana is surely headed towards the NCAA Tournament, but they need to finish strong in Big Ten play. They are close to cracking the Top-25 as well.

Arkansas Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks hold a record of 16-5 and they are close to breaking into the Top-25. Currently sitting in third place in the SEC, with a few more wins, the Razorbacks will most definitely be in the Top-25. Arkansas has a tough test coming up against the current #1 team, Auburn.

Iowa Hawkeyes

The Iowa Hawkeyes suffered a tough loss to Penn State, but this is a team that is built for success. The Hawkeyes have young players that can be stars, but also have a few veteran players to rely on. Patrick McCaffrey and Jordan Bohannon have to be more influential in the Iowa offense. Keegan Murray can continue to be a star and lead Iowa into the Top-25.

Iona Gaels

A team you may have not heard a lot about this season is the Iona Gaels. Iona is a very good team that can crack the Top-23 this season and make the NCAA Tournament. The Gaels are 18-3 on the season, with a big win over Alabama, and they played Kansas close. They are first in their conference and are looking for a tournament berth.

Loyola-Chicago Ramblers

While the Ramblers have lost two out of their last four games, they are still the favorites to win the Missouri Valley Conference. It is the last year in the MVC for Loyola-Chicago, and the Ramblers are looking to make a statement in their last season. A few wins and Loyola-Chicago will find themselves inside the Top-25 and onto the big dance.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

After a bad start to the season, Notre Dame has turned it around in the start of conference play. The Irish have a record of 14-7 on the season, good enough for a spot in third place in the conference standings. The Irish could continue to move up the ranks if they continue their good play.
