Check out with MyBookie’s College Basketball Odds the Horizon League Semifinals

We will do a little something different today with our college basketball Odds and preview as we will look at each Horizon League semifinal game on Monday night from Indianapolis with the winners then meeting on Tuesday night and the champion earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It will be a one-bid league to the Dance.

Oakland is the defending Horizon League Tournament champion, and you may remember upset No. 3 seed Kentucky in the first round of the 2024 Dance before being eliminated in Round 2 by No. 11 and eventual Final Four team NC State. The Golden Grizzlies are currently +380 to repeat and face No. 1 seed and +190 tournament favorite Robert Morris in tonight’s first game.

Opening Spread/Totals Subject to Change: Robert Morris -3.5 (total 139.5); Cleveland State -1 (total 139)
Expert Predictions: Robert Morris 72, Oakland 70 // Cleveland State 74, Youngstown State 71.

ESPN bracketology has the Colonials as the tourney winner and a No. 15 seed in the NCAA Tournament, facing No. 2 Alabama in Midwest Region first-round action from Cleveland. Robert Morris last played in the NCAA Tournament in 2015 when it was in the NEC, so it has never won this tournament.

In the second game, Youngstown State (+450 to win the tournament) takes on Cleveland State (+200). Youngstown has never won this event or reached the NCAA Tournament. Cleveland State last played in the Dance in 2021 when it beat Oakland in the Horizon League tourney title game.
