Men’s College Basketball Week 13 SU Betting Picks for Friday Games

The weekend is here, which means it’s time to take another look at college basketball to see if we can put some extra money in your pocket. We started with this feature last Friday and had ourselves a very decent day, going 2-0-1 in our picks. It was a little disappointing to see the PUSH land in the point spread, as you really can’t get any closer to a sweep than we did with that one. Still, it’s a new week and we are looking to keep the winning picks coming. As is often the case on the Friday night schedule in college basketball, there are no ranked teams playing. We are looking at some of the smaller schools here, but that is all part of the fun, so let’s see if we can pick out some College Basketball Betting winners.

Friday NCAAB SU Picks that will Put Money in your Pocket

St. Bonaventure Bonnies at Richmond Spiders (-3)

Both of these teams find themselves down in the middle of the pack in the Atlantic Conference standings, with both failing to get any type of consistency going in conference play. On the face of it, this actually looks like a bit of an iffy bet when you consider that the Bonnies have won each of their last 5 meetings with Richmond. That said, you have to look at the current form of both teams and make a decision based on that. In terms of the point spread, there is not a lot to like about St. Bonaventure at the moment, as they have been a very poor 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games. On the flipside, the Spiders have covered the spread in 4 of their last 5, but there is a little bit of a red flag here in that they are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games at home. I am going with current form and taking Richmond to cover.

Western Carolina Catamounts at VMI Keydets – UNDER 153

If we were strictly looking at the straight up win here, it would be VMI who would definitely get the nod. The goal here, though, is to find value in the picks we make here, which is why we are turning our attention to the point total for this game. This is a little trickier in that these teams are trending in different directions with the point total. The Catamounts have seen the UNDER hit in 4 of their last 5 games overall, while also seeing 8 of their last 12 games played in the month of February going the same way. For VMI, it has been the OVER that has hit in 6 of their last 7 games, but I am leaning towards the UNDER in this one.

Oakland Golden Grizzlies at Northern Kentucky Norse – OVER 140

This is a huge game for Oakland as they look to maintain their top spot in the Horizon League, where they are currently tied with Cleveland State. This will not be an easy one, though, as they are going against a Northern Kentucky team that has now won 5 in a row. This should be an entertaining game, but are we looking at the OVER or UNDER here? This is one where I am going to go against the trends, as both of these teams have been very much with the UNDER of late. I believe, though, that the total here is low enough for the score to go OVER.
