Men’s College Basketball Weekend Parlay Games to Bet On

Illinois Fighting Illini vs Michigan State Spartans

This will be a very interesting game on Saturday as Illinois travels to take on Michigan State. Illinois was just embarrassed by Rutgers on Wednesday night and Michigan State is coming off a road loss to Penn State. Needless to say, both teams cannot wait for the postseason to start.

Illinois was dominated from start to finish in their last game at Rutgers. Illinois has been struggling as of late, capped off by the bad loss on Wednesday. Illinois is a Top-15 rebounding team this season but they have been outrebounded in seven of their last eight games. They have to start shooting the ball better as well.

Michigan State is starting to falter a bit as they have lost three of their last five games. Gabe Brown still leads the Spartans in points per game this season, averaging 12.1 points. The schedule is not much easier for Michigan State down the stretch even after they play Illinois.

This is a game I expect to be fairly close in the spread, but we expect Illinois to be a small favorite on the road. The last time these two teams played in Champaign was a statement win by Illinois beating the Spartans without Kofi Cockburn and Andre Curbelo. Illinois is the team to bet on in this game.

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs Texas Longhorns

This matchup was bananas the first time in Lubbock and we expect more of the same in Austin this time around. There is bad blood between the two teams because of the current Texas head coach, Chris Beard. Beard was the head coach of the Red Raiders for the last 10 years.

Texas Tech is coming in off a thrilling win over the Baylor Bears, a team that they swept this season. The Red Raiders have won four of their last five games as well. Texas Tech is looking to give Kansas a run for their money for the regular-season Big 12 Title.

Texas has had a streaky run as of late including a win over Kansas but a loss to Baylor. Texas currently sits fourth in the standings. Timmy Allen has been huge for Texas this season averaging 11.9 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. This would be a statement win for the Longhorns if they can pull it off.

This is a matchup we like Texas Tech in. The Red Raiders are playing great basketball this season and they have something to prove in this game against their old coach.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs Kentucky Wildcats

Our third matchup comes out of the SEC where Alabama has a chance to help Auburn in the standings. Kentucky is coming off a bad loss to Tennessee this last week. This will be a battle between two ranked teams in the late part of the season.

Alabama is not having the season they thought they would at 17-9 but 7-6 in SEC play. The issues for the Crimson Tide lie on the defensive side of the ball. They give up 75.5 points per game on defense which is only five less than what they score.

Kentucky is having a much better year than last season. The Wildcats are currently 21-5 on the season, second in the SEC and they are #4 in the AP Poll. Kentucky averages over 40 rebounds a game, much to the credit of Oscar Tshiebwe.

This is a game that we like Kentucky in. This is a game that Kentucky will have a decent favorite in when looking at the spread.
