Two struggling teams will get together in the National Football League on Sunday. The New York Giants will take on the Las Vegas Raiders. The New York Giants are a mess in 2023. The Giants are 2-6 on the season, and last place in the NFC East. The Giants are coming off their overtime loss to the Jets, in which they led in the final seconds of regulation.
For the Raiders, they are a bigger mess. The Raiders have a 3-5 record on the season, and actually ahead of the Chargers in the AFC West. But, the Raiders fired their coach on Tuesday, and will start a new quarterback. Despite all that, the Raiders are -1.5 on Sunday.
MyBookie offers the NFL lines, game analysis, and betting pick for New York Giants versus the Las Vegas Raiders which are playing on Week 9 of the NFL season.

Can the Giants Win this Game? | New York’s Offense is AWOL
The New York Giants have the worst offense in all of the National Football League. The Giants are scoring just 11.9 points per game, and they are passing for just 155.1 yards per game. The run game has been a little better, as they are 15th in the league. Saquon Barkley has just one rushing touchdown all season.
Daniel Jones has missed time with injury. Tyrod Taylor left the last game with injury. Now, Tommy DeVito has been signed to the active roster. Regardless of who is under center on Sunday, the Giants quarterbacks have thrown just four touchdowns and six interceptions this season. Also lost for the Giants is tight end Darren Waller with a hamstring injury.
Things do not get easier for the Giants. This is just the first of three straight road games. The Giants are at the Cowboys and then Commanders, before they host the Patriots on the final Sunday in November.
Can the Raiders Win this Game? | New Coach in Vegas
Josh McDaniels is finally gone as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The McDaniels experience did not go well. Now, Antonio Pierce will serve as the interim head coach. The first thing that came from Raiders camp is rookie Aidan O’Connell will get the nod as the starting quarterback. The former Purdue signal caller is taking over for Jimmy Garoppolo.
O’Cconnell has thrown a touchdown and two interceptions on 52 passing attempts this season. One thing O’Connell will need to do is get the ball to his guys. Davante Adams is the first man, with 47 receptions on 78 targets, and 539 yards, with 3 touchdowns. Jakobi Meyers is a great option as well, leading the team with five touchdowns, while Josh Jacobs was the leading rusher a season ago.
The Las Vegas Raiders get the back to back New York team stretch. The Giants are in town in Week 9 and the Jets will come for Sunday Night Football in Week 10. Following that, the Raiders will face the Dolphins in Miami and host the Chiefs to wrap up the month.
