The NFC North is going to be one of the most competitive divisions in all of the National Football League in 2023. Aaron Rodgers has left the Packers, and the spot to claim as the top quarterback in the division is up for grabs.
Let’s debate that as we look at the NFL: Ranking starting quarterbacks in the NFC North Division.
Today, we are going to take a look at top NFL games to bet: NFL: Ranking starting quarterbacks in NFC North Division.
Ranking Starting Quarterbacks in NFC North Division | MyBookie Regular Season Preview
National Football Conference Northern Division | NFC North
Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings | Kirk Cousins #8
NFL Draft: 2012 / Round: 4 / Pick: 102
2022 Season Stats: 4,547 yds | 29 TD | 14 Int | 49.9 QBR
Backup QB: Jaren Hall, Nick Mullens
NFC North Odds: +275
The longest-standing quarterback on the list. The 34-year-old out of Michigan State continues to put up numbers.
A season ago, he threw for nearly 4,600 yards and 29 touchdowns but threw 14 interceptions. You know what you get with Cousins. He is going to make a bunch of passes, but he’s also going to throw the ball away some. Can Cousins win the big game?
That’s been the long-standing question, and the answer so far has been NO. The window could be closing on the Vikings, with a couple of young, exciting teams trying to make their mark on the division.

Chicago Bears | Justin Fields #1
NFL Draft: 2021 / Round: 1 / Pick: 11
2022 Season Stats: 2,242 yds | 17 TD | 11 Int | 54.0 QBR
Backup QB: Tyson Bagent, Nathan Peterman, PJ Walker
NFC North Odds: +440
It’s a crazy game with Justin Fields because you either love him and obsess over him and think he is going to be the MVP of the league, or you simply just don’t think he’s cut out to be an NFL quarterback. The 24-year-old from Ohio State was the 11th overall pick in the 2021 draft.
Things have not been all roses for the signal caller so far. But the Bears look to give him more opportunities this season and hope his pass game has improved.
Fields had numerous 100+ yard rushing games a season ago, which begs the question: Can he win a rushing title in the NFL this season?

Detroit Lions | Jared Goff #16
NFL Draft: 2016 / Round: 1 / Pick: 1
2022 Season Stats: 4,438 yds | 29 TD | 7 Int | 61.1 QBR
Backup QB: Hendon Hooker, Adrian Martinez, Nate Sudfeld
NFC North Odds: +141
In many ways, Jared Goff is like Kirk Cousins. Goff is still just 28 years old, though. Goff actually had a tremendous season last year. But Goff will throw the ball away at times.
His 2022 season saw him finish with 4,438 yards and 29 touchdowns. That came with just seven interceptions on the season. In his career, he has thrown for 155 touchdowns and 70 interceptions, as he has crossed over 25,000 passing yards in his career. Goff did reach the Pro Bowl in 2022.
If he can keep his interceptions down again in 2023- Goff could be in for a monster 2023 season.

Green Bay Packers | Jordan Love #10
NFL Draft: 2020 / Round: 1 / Pick: 26
2022 Season Stats: 195 yds | 1 TD | 0 Int | 82.0 QBR
Backup QB: Sean Clifford, Danny Etling, Alex McGough
NFC North Odds: +400
It’s finally Jordan Love’s time in Green Bay. We say finally, but the man is just 24 years old. The Utah State product has been Aaron Rodgers’ backup since he was drafted in the first round back in 2020.
Love played in just one game a season, and in his career just has 83 passing attempts. It will be fun to see what the Packers have in Love for a full season. When we do these same rankings in 2024, will he move up?
No matter how you slice it, the NFC North and the quarterbacks in the division are going to be interesting to follow. We understand if you have this list a little differently.
Frankly, once the season starts, these rankings will not be better and will likely look a different way anyways. We hope you enjoyed our preseason look at the NFL: Ranking starting quarterback in the NFC North Division!
