Kansas City Chiefs +118 over San Francisco 49ers

We like Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes and his tight end Travis Kelce just have been outstanding, and seem to be tough to slow down. Now, they get a 49ers defense that allowed 31 points in the win over the Lions. Teams are figuring out ways to score on the 49ers, and that’s what the Chiefs are going to do. On the other side, Kansas CIty has been solid on defense. Look for a perfect storm leading to the Chiefs winning this game 24-21 over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs / San Francisco 49ers UNDER 47.5

This has the makings of a great football game, but also the UNDER. The 49ers like to speed things up, but Kansas City has been elite on the defensive side. The Chiefs allowed just 7 to the Dolphins and 10 to the Ravens. Buffalo got 24, but overall teams are struggling to score on the Chiefs. Look for the 49ers to get three touchdowns, but that’s it. We like the Chiefs to win this game by a final score of 24-21 over the 49ers to win their third Super Bowl title.

Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl MVP +155

If the Kansas City Chiefs win this game, the quarterback is going to get the award. Even if Mahomes goes to Travis Kelce for a pair of touchdowns, it’s going to the quarterback. At +155, we like his odds to win this award. On the other side, Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy are the guys to watch on their side. We like Mahomes to win the award, as the Chiefs get the job done when it matters most.

First Touchdown Scorer: Christian McCaffrey +330

While we are picking the Kansas City Chiefs, we would not be shocked if the 49ers go down the field early and score a touchdown. If the 49ers score a touchdown, the chances of it going to Christian McCaffrey are pretty strong. We like the running back to get into the end zone early and often here for San Francisco. We like his more than 3/1 odds to score first.

1st Quarter: OVER 8.5 points

The fifth and final bet that we like – the OVER 8.5 points in the first quarter of the game. We like the game to STAY UNDER, but we like the first quarter to see both teams score a touchdown. The second quarter could be a little slow, and the game slows down a bit. Take the OVER 8.5, as both offenses start hot.

NFL Super Bowl 58 Betting Picks: Best Five Bets for the Big Game

Previous Betting News

The countdown to Super Bowl 57 is on, but the big question here is whether you have started thinking about your wagers for the big game. Do you like to get your wagers in as soon as the odds hit the board or do you wait things out and get them posted on game day? There is absolutely no wrong way to do it, but we are going to take a moment to think about some bets you should consider getting on right now. There are a few that I think you can jump on, so let’s discuss that a little further. It’s time to see the best five bets for the big game you could take so you can make your bets on the Super Bowl Odds.

5 Bets You Should Start Considering for Super Bowl LVII

1. Straight Up Pick

They really don’t come much more basic than this, and while you shouldn’t just pick a winner without doing some research, chances are you probably already had a potential winner in mind. The odds for both teams right now are pretty good, with the Eagles in as a favorite at odds of -125, while the Chiefs are at +103. There is a chance those odds will move a little, but not so much that getting in now might prove to be a mistake.

2. MVP

As far as Super Bowl wagers go, this one is actually among the most predictable of the bunch. If you can correctly pick the straight up winner, chances are you can also have a solid idea of the MVP. Foe the most part, it is the winning QB who hoists the MVP award, with 8 of the last 12 recipients being a QB. It is, of course, not a total guarantee, but it’s a bet that you can make with some level of confidence.

3. Point Spread

This is one of the tightest Super Bowl spreads in recent memory, with the Eagles in as a modest 1 ½ point favorite. We have yet to see a championship games decided by fewer than 3 points, so this one is essentially the same as picking a straight up winner, although it has to be said that every trend does need to come to an end at some point or another. Whoever you have as a straight up winner, I would double down and take them to cover, too.

4. Over/Under

As it stands at the moment, the point total for Super Bowl 57 is set at 50. Yes, both of these teams have offenses that can do some damage, but they also have some very solid defensive prowess to call upon. For me, the O/U seems to be a little on the high side, especially when you consider the state of Patrick Mahomes ankle and the fact that the Eagles have surrendered just 14 total points in 2 playoff games. This is a coin flip, but it’s also a straightforward pick that you can make right now.

5. Player Props

Do you have a specific player that you think will come up big in the Super Bowl? If so, you may want to take a look at the current player props on the board to see what jumps out. It might be passing yards for a specific QB or receiving yards for a WR. You might also want to take a look at team props, too, or by quarter.
