Parlay Picks For This Week’s Slate of NFL Games | Week 9 Betting Odds

Philadelphia Eagles @ Houston Texans (+13)

Yes, we know that 13 is a lot of points. However, the Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated, are playing great football, and got even better at the trade deadline. The Eagles and the Buffalo Bills are the two most balanced teams in the NFL.

Philadelphia has a great offense led by Jalen Hurts. Hurts has established great chemistry with AJ Brown. The Eagles also arguably have the best offensive line in football.

We can’t forget to talk about the Philadelphia defense as well. They’ve only allowed 20 or more points twice this season. Their secondary is one of the best, and with the addition of pass rushing specialist Robert Quinn at the trade deadline, their defensive line has become even more of a weapon.

We can’t really say a whole lot about the Houston Texans. Davis Mills hasn’t progressed much from his rookie season.

Mills has very few weapons surrounding him. This truly is one of the worst offenses in the league. Defensively, the Texans can hold their own, but with an anemic offense, the defense has to carry the team.

Philadelphia is 5-2 against the spread this season, and after Thursday night, they’ll be 6-2. Philadelphia wins this one 28-13.

Miami Dolphins (-4.5) @ Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have had an up-and-down season. At times they can look really good, and at other times they look really bad. Matt Eberflus has yet to turn quarterback Justin Fields loose. Although Fields has been doing more things with his legs as of late, he’s still reluctant to throw the ball.

Defensively, the Bears just lost their best defensive player, Roquan Smith. Smith was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. Chicago still has a nice, young defensive line, along with an improving secondary, but they still have a ways to go.

The Miami Dolphins offense is just starting to really put things together. Now that Tua Tagovailoa is healthy, he is really going. With Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill at his disposal, the Dolphins’ offense is ready to put up some points.

Raheem Mostert has done a good job running the ball, and now Mike McDaniel has brought in one of his former 49ers backs, Jeff Wilson Jr., to gain the tough yards on the ground.

The Bears’ offense has had its issues, but so has the Miami offense. Miami just acquired Bradley Chubb from the Denver Broncos to help with the pass rush, so this unit should get better.

While we think that the Bears will hang around, they won’t be able to keep up with the Dolphins’ offense. Miami wins 34-24.
