Copa America Odds & Score Predictions: Uruguay vs USA, Panama vs Bolivia

Games For Monday: There are just 4 games remaining in the group stage at the Copa America, and we have already seen a major surprise.

After a disappointing 0-0 draw with Chile over the weekend, Mexico has now crashed out of the tournament.

My Analysis

We might be on the brink of seeing the next surprise coming on Monday night, as the United States could also be on their way out of the tournament if they fail to get a result against Uruguay.

Tuesday night might also be worth watching, as Brazil have not yet secured their spot in the knockout stage of the tournament, although you have to say that they are in a much better position than the hosts.

We have some ground to cover here, so let’s dive right in and take a closer look at the 2 games coming our way on Monday night.

Bolivia +420 vs Panama -149

I think it’s more than fair to suggest that we all expected this to be a meaningless game, but that is not how things have played out in Group C.

The opening round of games went as expected, with Bolivia and Panama both losing, but that changed in the second game. We will get to Panama in a moment, but for now, let’s focus on Bolivia.

They did put up a decent fight in their opening game against the United States before going down 2-0, but they were totally outclassed in Game 2, which was a 5-0 loss at the hands of Uruguay.

They are still mathematically in this thing, but they would need a massive win here to have any shot at moving on.

Panama battled hard against Uruguay in their opening game, but they were done in by a pair of late goals that saw them eventually fall 3-1.

They went behind early to the US and looked to be in trouble, but a first half red card to Timothy Weah gave Panama a man advantage, which they used to score twice and pick up a totally unexpected win.

If they can get the win here and the US lose, Panama could well be moving on. I think they hold up their end of the bargain with a win.

Copa America Pick: Bolivia 0-1 Panama
Draw: +270 // Total O/U: 2.5

United States +155 vs Uruguay +186

Before we get into the details of this game, just a quick reminder that the final 2 group games are played at the same time, so be aware of that before you wager.

The United States comes into this one under a staggering amount of pressure, as they are in real danger of going out of the tournament in the group stage as the host nation, which is something that none of us saw coming in what looked to be a very manageable group.

A draw against Uruguay might prove to be enough, but they will be watching the scoreboard to see what Panama is doing.

The reality, though, is that they need a much better performance against a much better opponent.

There is zero pressure on Uruguay heading into this one, as they have already punched their ticket into the quarterfinal. We will now need to wait and see what type of team they field for this game.

Will they take the opportunity to rest some players ahead of a busy schedule, or will they be going all out for the win?

I believe Bielsa will field his best eleven players, who will be too much for the US to handle.

Copa America Pick: United States 1-3 Uruguay
Draw: +214 // Total O/U: 2.5
When: Monday, July 1, 9 PM EST
