Sociedad has gone 5-0 in their last 5. The match on Jan. 14, where the home chalk in this dusted Athletic Bilbao 3-1 impressed. At the odds, Sociedad is for sure the play.

But Atletico is not playing well. The loss to Barca makes sense. But falling to Almeria via penalty kicks was not good. Taking a swing on the home dog makes sense.

Osasuna has won 3-of-5. Betis is the better team and should bounce back with a nice win. If the odds remain over even money, consider the home team an overlay.

Villareal versus Real Madrid should be an excellent match. El Blanco heads into this after losing to Barcelona in a Supercopa El Classico this past Sunday.

The match wasn’t close, which is why the odds above should be different when you go to play one of these terrific teams on the moneyline.

Villareal won the last head-to-head, which happened earlier in January this year. The home team is more suited for lower-level tournaments like the Copa. Give Villareal the nod to hand El Blanco their second straight loss.
