The good news if you’re looking to back the Americans is that they took 18 shots to the Netherland’s 5. Also, the United States took 4 shots on goal to the Dutch’s single shot on goal.

Portugal fell to the Netherlands 1-0 in their first Women’s World Cup match. The Portuguese bounced back with a 2-0 win over Vietnam. Portugal isn’t a great team, but the U.S. isn’t as dominant as it has been in the past couple of cycles. Taking the +1.5 goals makes sense.
