Great matchups take place in the Bundesliga this weekend, including Bayer Leverkusen against Dortmund on Sunday. Saturday’s top game pits RB Leipzig agianst Bayern Munich. Also on Saturday, Gladbach heads to Arminia Bielefeld and Mainz hosts Hoffenheim. Check out Bundesliga odds, analysis, and free picks for six of this weekend’s top Bundesliga matches.

Top Bundesliga Matches to Watch and Bet On From Feb. 5th to 6th

Borussia Monchengladbach +111 vs Arminia Bielefeld +230

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 5

Since upsetting Bayern Munich 2-1 on Jan. 7, Monchengladbach’s form has fallen off a cliff. Gladbach has lost 3 straight. No loss was as bad as dropping a match 0-3 to Hannover 96 in a DFB Pokal game.

Arminia has won 3-of-5 with a couple of draws. No doubt, Arminia is worth a look at +230. But Gladbach won the last head-to-head by a 3-1 score. The road team is the play.

Soccer Pick: Monchengladbach

SC Freiburg +180 vs FC Cologne +133

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 5

Cologne has lost 2 and drawn once in their last 3. Freiburg has won 2 straight. The odds don’t correctly identify either team’s chances.

Freiburg shouldn’t be a +180 choice. Cologne does have the home pitch edge. But Freiburg is in much better form. The odds on the road squad makes them an overlay.

Soccer Pick: Freiburg

TSG Hoffenheim +155 vs FSV Mainz +160

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 5

Neither team is in great form. Hoffenheim has lost 3 straight. Mainz has lost 2 straight and 4-of-5.

One thing to note is that Hoffenheim’s losses were against better teams. Losses to Freiburg, Dortmund, and Union Berlin are more explainable than Mainz’s losses to Greuther Furth and Bochum. But although Hoffenheim has the slightly better form, Mainz has won the last couple of head-to-head matches. The home team gets the nod.

Soccer Pick: Mainz

Eintracht Frankfurt +146 vs VfB Stuttgart +170

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 5

Both teams are struggling. Frankfurt has lost 2-of-3 with a draw. Stuttgart has lost 4-of-5 with a draw.

Stuttgart has home pitch advantage while Frankfurt has had the much better season, amassing 28 points to Stuttgart’s 18. Both teams offer fair odds, but neither team has an edge in the head-to-head because these two have drawn in the last 3. Another draw seems probable.

Soccer Pick: Draw

RB Leipzig +1 ½ -131 vs Bayern Munich -1 ½ -101

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 5

Saturday’s top match pits two of the biggest rivals in the Bundesliga. Bayern dominated the last head-to-head, dropping Leipzig via a 4-1 score.

The road team heads into this on fire, though, winning 4 straight. But although Leipzig has played well, not a single one of the victories impressed. Wolfsburg, Hansa Rostock, Stuttgart and Mainz aren’t great teams. Bayern can cover the handicap.

Soccer Pick: Bayern

Bayer Leverkusen +235 vs Borussia Dortmund -111

  • When: Sunday, Feb. 6

Not only does this happen on Dortmund’s pitch, but the home team won the last head-to-head via a  4-3 score. So it makes sense why Dortmund is the chalk.

But Dortmund shouldn’t offer such low odds. Leverkusen has won 2 straight. Both victories, 2-1 versus Monchengladbach and 5-1 against Augsburg, impressed. Dortmund can win for sure. But the underlay odds make the home team a play against.

Soccer Pick: Bayer Leverkusen
