Napoli maintains a lead on the Serie A standings, but the lead has shrunk to a single point. When it comes to this matchup, the home team is a play against.

Atalanta is on fire. The road squad has won 4-of-5. Atalanta has also won the last 2 head-to-head. Napoli has a single win, 2 losses, and 2 draws in their last 5. The odds make Atalanta an overlay.

Lazio +113 vs Sampdoria +210 | Serie A – Matchday 15

When: Sunday, Dec. 5 at 12:00 pm ET

Lazio isn’t a lock to hand the home team a loss. The favored road squad shows a couple of wins, a couple of losses, and a draw in their last 5. Not only that, but Lazio only beat Sampdoria by a single goal in the last match between these two.

In the head-to-head before last, Sampdoria dusted Lazio 3-0. We must also question which squad is in better form. Both show just 2 wins in their last 5. Taking a shot on the home underdog makes sense.

Real Madrid +115 vs Real Sociedad +220 | La Liga Primera Division – Matchday 16

Real Madrid has taken charge. The best team in La Liga now holds a 6-point lead over Atletico and Sociedad atop the standings.

Sociedad can cut into the lead on Saturday. The chances of that happening aren’t great. Real is playing like a machine and beating quality squads like Sevilla and Bilbao with ease. At +115, Real is an overlay.

Liverpool -1 ½ (+124) vs Wolverhampton +1 ½ (-166) | English Premier League – Matchweek 14

When: Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10:00 am ET

Pool is close to unplayable on the moneyline because the odds are so underlaid. Wolverhampton is also unplayable on the moneyline because the chances of the Wanderers winning this are less than the odds indicate.

So we’re left with the handicap. Although Wolverhampton should keep this to within a single goal loss, it’s difficult to lay -166. Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton by 2 last month.

Liverpool beat the Wanderers by 4 last December 6. Laying the 1 ½ on the Reds is worth a shot.
