Overall, the Titans offense has been in the middle of the pack in the NFL coming in at 21st averaging 19.2 points per game.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Titans are coming off arguably their best performance of the year as they registered three sacks while forcing a fumble and two interceptions including one pick-six. Houston Texans Betting Preview: Texans Look to Defend Home Turf Coming off of BYE Week

The Texans (1-4-1) did not utilize their bye week very well as they were defeated by the Raiders in Week Seven, losing 38-20 despite playing a run defense that conceded over 130 yards a game. Houston looks like they are waving the white flag this season as there have been rumors about trading some of their best players like Brandin Cooks.

Houston’s offense has been pedestrian at best this year. Despite having some developing key young players like Davis Mills and Dameon Pierce the offense has struggled to move the football effectively and consistently. On the defensive side of the ball the Texans come in ranked 20th in total defense and are allowing 22.8 points per game. Last week against the Raiders they surrendered a whopping 38 points and they’ll need to improve drastically if they do not want to repeat that performance.
