We are beyond the halfway point of the season in Formula E, and with a doubleheader in Jakarta this coming weekend, the finish line is now very much in sight. While time is indeed running out on the season, there is still time for there to be a change at the top, which is something we saw with the move made by current leader, Nick Cassidy, which we will get into in just a moment. It is still close enough at the top for someone in the chasing pack to wrestle the lead away from Cassidy, and with a pair of races coming this weekend, we might just see that happen once all is said and done. Let’s take a look the Formula E betting analysis at the current top 4 heading into Round 10/11.
Formula E Betting Preview for the 2023 Jakarta E-Prix Round 10/11
When: Sunday, June 4 at 6:30 PM ET
Where: Jakarta, Indonesia

Nick Cassidy
Heading into this season, Cassidy had only ever won once on the Formula E circuit, finishing 14th overall last season. There were not a lot of race fans who had him in as a potential champion this year, but back-to-back wins in the last 2 races saw him add 50 points to his overall total, which moved him to the top of the driver standings. Now that he has his nose in front, it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure as we come down the homestretch of the season. There was only one race in Jakarta last season, with Cassidy Finishing 16th in that one.

Pascal Wehrlein
Just like Cassidy, Wehrlein is another driver who has taken a massive step forward this season. In his previous 4 seasons in Formula E, Wehrlein won just 1 race and failed to finish better than 10th. He will almost certainly improve on that performance this season, as he is sitting clear of the pack in 2nd place, just 20 points off the pace being set by the leader. Wehrlein has won a pair of races this season and did spend some time in the top spot. He has, though, cooled off of late and needs a good showing in Jakarta, where he finished 8th last season, if he is to keep up with Cassidy.

Jake Dennis
In his first full season with Formula E, Dennis showed plenty of promise, winning a pair of races and finishing 3rd overall. With that showing, a lot was expected from him last season, and while he did win another race, he finished 6th, which has to be seen as a disappointment. Dennis is very much back in the hunt again in 2023, winning the opening race of the season and landing on the podium in 4 other races. If he can nab another win this weekend, he will be right in the championship hunt. Dennis finished in 6th in Jakarta last season.

Mitch Evans
Evans came close to winning it all last season, finishing 2nd overall, and he is very much in the hunt again in 2023. Evans did see the season get off to a slow start, but he is putting it all together now and has moved up to 4th after winning 2 of the last 4 races. In the other two races in that run, he finished 4th and 2nd, respectively, so he seems to be rounding into form just in time to take a run at the lead. Evans won in Jakarta last year, so perhaps he can keep the good run of form going.
