Motor Sports Lines: 2025 Top Events to think about Futures

One of the great things about sports wagering is that there is always action to bet on, even on major holidays.

NASCAR

The NASCAR Cup Series season ended with Joey Logano winning it all. Oddly enough, he is not among the top 4 favorites for the 2024 season, but things can change between now and the start of the new season.

We will get to those odds in a moment, but it is worth remembering that besides the Cup Series, you also have the Xfinity Series and Truck Series to wager on, too. The first points race of the new season will be on February 16 with the running of the Daytona 500.

Formula 1

Max Verstappen has just won his 4th straight world championship, but he will not have long to rest on his laurels, as season testing in Bahrain will take place at the end of February 2025.

Verstappen is the obvious choice to win again, but Lando Norris showed this season that he might be ready to pose a serious challenge.

Here are the current odds for the 2025 F1 season:

IndyCar

Just as Verstappen is lighting it up in Formula 1, we are starting to see Àlex Palou do the same thing in IndyCar. Palou has won 2 in a row and 3 of the last 4 championships, so it stands to reason that he is going to be up among the favorites again this season.

The new season in IndyCar starts in St. Petersburg on March 2, so again, not long to wait until we get back into the racing action.

MotoGP

Now that we have covered all the motor sports on 4 wheels, let’s now shift to the 2-wheel variety. We had an amazing finish to the MotoGP season in 2024, with Jorge Martin holding off Francesco Bagnaia to win his first World Championship.

The question now is whether this will be a one-off win, or if we will see someone else rise to the top this coming season. The opening race of the 2025 season will be in Thailand on March 2.
