The NFL season is still a few months away, but now is a great time to begin prep for 2021. The NFL schedule is released, 2021 odds for Super Bowl winners and division winners are now up for bettors, and training camp is right around the corner.
Today we’ll take a look at the Las Vegas Raiders schedule, NFL odds, and more for the 2021 season.
NFL Betting – Las Vegas Raiders Calendar Odds & Analysis For the 2021-22 Season
Las Vegas: 2020 Season Recap
2020 was the Raiders‘ first season in Las Vegas, an underwhelming season that ended with an 8-8 record.
There was a point that it felt the Raiders could sneak into the playoffs, 7-5 with four games to go. Vegas proceeded to lose three straight, dashing any hope of a Wild Card berth.
Both Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller exceed 1,000 total yards, often feeling like the lone bright spots on offense.
Derek Carr may have reached his ceiling, and if so, 2021 isn’t shaping up to be much better for the Raiders.
Las Vegas: Odds for 2021
MyBookie has you covered for all things NFL betting. On site you can find every available bet for Las Vegas, from Week 1 odds to Super Bowl LVI odds and everything in between.
The Raiders’ odds to win the Super Bowl are currently at +4000, the 20th best in the NFL.
Las Vegas’s odds to win the AFC are listed at +2800, with only four teams below them.
It’s tough to imagine any AFC West team usurping Kansas City for the division, with bettors least optimistic about the Raiders’ chances. Las Vegas’s odds are +1000 to win the division.
Las Vegas: 2021 Schedule
The AFC West is strong across the board. There’s the Chiefs, who need no introduction, and two teams on the rise in the Chargers and Broncos.
The Raiders will play the AFC North this season, which had three playoff teams a year ago, and the NFC East, which was one of the weakest divisions in NFL history in 2020.
Rounding out the schedule will be the Dolphins, Colts, and Bears.
The teams on Las Vegas’s schedule:
- Kansas City Chiefs (x2)
- Los Angeles Chargers (x2)
- Denver Broncos (x2)
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Baltimore Ravens
- Cleveland Browns
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Washington Football Team
- Dallas Cowboys
- New York Giants
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Miami Dolphins
- Indianapolis Colts
- Chicago Bears
2021 Season Prediction
It’s a tough schedule for the Raiders in 2021, and while every team around them seems to be getting better, it’s hard to pinpoint where Las Vegas has improved.
In typical Jon Gruden fashion, the Raiders were caught reaching in the first round of the draft once again, this time selecting Alabama offensive linemen Alex Leatherwood.
Leatherwood should be a fine starter, but many feel that Gruden and the Raiders could have gotten a different player with their first pick and Leatherwood later.
Their selection will need to shore up an offensive line that mightily struggled a season ago.
What will really hold Las Vegas back from competing in 2021 is their defense. Their defense ranked 30th last season, and it doesn’t feel like they’ve done enough to strengthen their vulnerability.
Avoid Las Vegas futures in 2021, and consider betting their under for total wins, currently set at 7.
