NCAAB Betting: Top Games to Wager From Tuesday to Thursday ( Feb. 1st – 3rd)

Kansas Jayhawks at Iowa State Cyclones

  • When: Tuesday, Feb. 1

Since a Jan. 22 loss to Texas Christian, Iowa State has played great, beating Oklahoma State 84-81 in overtime, and besting Missouri 67-50 as a -11 favorite.

But although the Cyclones have an edge because this happens on their floor, Kansas should be fired up to prove they’re the best in the Big 12. The Jayhawks lost their last game versus Kentucky and it wasn’t even close. The Wildcats blasted Kansas 80-62. Expect Kansas to bounce back with a straight up and cover victory.

NCAAM Pick: Kansas Jayhawks

Texas Longhorns at Texas Tech Red Raiders
  • When: Tuesday, Feb. 1

Although Texas hasn’t dominated the way many thought they would, the Longhorns are 16-5, which is the same record as Texas Tech’s. The Red Raiders should be around a -4.5 chalk, which tells us that oddsmakers know this will be a tough game.

Texas heads to Lubbock after beating Tennessee 52-51 in their last. The Horns allow 54.5 points per game, ranking first in the nation. Texas has more scorers than Texas Tech, which could lead to a Texas SU victory. Longhorns moneyline is the best play.

NCAAM Pick: Texas Longhorns

Wisconsin Badgers at Illinois Illini

  • When: Wednesday, Feb. 2

With a 17-3 record, Wisconsin is in first place in the Big Ten, which makes them a solid play to win and cover. But although the Badgers have a great SU record and winning ATS record, the Badgers have gone 0-3 ATS in their last 3.

Second-place Illinois is 15-5. While the Badgers are 0-3 ATS in their last 3, Illinois hasn’t covered in 4 straight. This could go either way, but it will be harder for Illinois to contain Jonathan Davis than it will be for the Badgers to contain Kofi Cockburn. Wisconsin wins and covers.

NCAAM Pick: Wisconsin Badgers

Villanova Wildcats at Marquette Golden Eagles

  • When: Wednesday, Feb. 2

Villanova has gone 9-1 SU in their last 10. The lone loss? Yep, it was to Marquette on Jan. 19.

The Golden Eagles are 7-3 straight up in their last 10. But although Villanova has a better SU record in recent games, Marquette is dominating against the spread. The Eagles have covered in 8 straight. On Wednesday, Marquette should make it 9 straight ATS.

NCAAM Pick: Marquette Golden Eagles

Iowa Hawkeyes at Ohio State Buckeyes

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 3

Iowa easily won the last head-to-head 73-57. The game, though, happened on Feb. 28, 2021 when Luka Garza played for the Hawkeyes.

Without Garza, Iowa isn’t nearly as formidable. Ohio State has covered in 3 straight. In their last, the Buckeyes almost pulled off the victory against Purdue in an 81-78 loss. The home team wins and covers.

NCAAM Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes

UCLA Bruins at Arizona Wildcats

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 3

Two of the best teams in the nation clash when U-of-A welcomes UCLA to McKale Center in Tucson, AZ. The Wildcats host the Bruins a few days after beating rival ASU by 11, 67-56.

But although Arizona is tough to beat at home, it’s difficult to forget how easily the Bruins dismantled Zona’s defense in the 75-59 win on Jan. 25. The venue may change, and AZ will, no doubt, play better but UCLA is the more experienced team and know how to best shut down Arizona’s offense. Bruins grab the road win.

NCAAM Pick: UCLA Bruins
