Dallas Cowboys vs Minnesota Vikings Odds, Picks – NFL Week 11 Betting Preview

The Week 11 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys (6-3) and Minnesota Vikings (8-1) takes place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Dallas was favored by four points against Green Bay on Sunday, but the Packers defeated the Cowboys 31-28 after a come-from-behind victory.

The Vikings had arguably their biggest win of the season, taking down the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in an overtime victory. Minnesota was +6.5 point underdogs and moved to 8-1 with an impressive road victory.

This could potentially be a preview of an NFC playoff matchup. Both teams have played incredibly well up to this point and want to continue that success. Who will win this one? Let’s take a look at the best NFL Odds for the Cowboys vs Vikings matchup.

NFL Week 11 Lines & Analysis for Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota

Cowboys Look to Avenge Road Loss

Dallas comes into this matchup following a disappointing loss that moved them to third in the NFC East standings. As a result of letting the Packers take advantage of them by rushing 70% of the time and giving up 207 yards on the ground, the Cowboys’ defense struggled to stop the run.

Dallas’ secondary and pass rush has been one of the best in the league, but they will need a complete effort if they want to win this matchup.

The offense has had no trouble thanks to strong efforts from Dak Prescott and the rushing tandem of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys are averaging 23.4 points up to this point in the season but are on a hot streak with 33.7 points per game over their last three contests. Additionally, the Cowboys are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games.

This should be a competitive matchup as the Cowboys want to improve their standings in the NFC East. They will face another tall task as they visit one of the hottest NFL teams in the Vikings.

Vikings put Undefeated Home Record on the Line

The Minnesota Vikings play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night after a convincing victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

Coach Kevin O’Connell’s team prevailed 33-30 in overtime in one of the strangest regular-season games in the Vikings’ 62-year history, displaying resiliency that was even unexpected for this club. Down by 17 points at one point, the Vikings outscored the Bills 16-3 in the second half, ultimately tying the game and winning it in overtime.

This season, it has been difficult to predict the Minnesota Vikings. Despite being 8-1, they have only looked decent when they have rallied from deficits six times thus far. One thing is for sure this team can flat-out score.

Kirk Cousins leads the offense that averages 25.1 points per game. Justin Jefferson has been on a tear, scoring two touchdowns along with 308 yards in his last two games. Defensively there are major questions as they rank 30th overall in yards allowed per game (381.2).

The Vikings are star-studded on offense, and it will be interesting to see how they match up against that Cowboy defense. Regardless, this one should be a shootout, and it will be one of the more exciting games to watch on Sunday.

Betting Lines & Odds

The Cowboys are the betting favorites in this game, with the spread set at 1.5 points (-110).

In terms of the moneyline, the Vikings are given +100 odds to win at home, while the Cowboys are given -120 odds to win on the road. Finally, 47.5 points (-110) is the listed total for the Over/Under.

Betting Pick

Even though the Cowboys are the favorites in this game, I’m not sure I can fully rely on them, especially given their defeat last week on the road. The Cowboys are preparing to face one of the best running backs in the league in Dalvin Cook, and they struggled to stop the run against the Packers last week.

Minnesota will threaten the Cowboys with the pass and the run; what has been more impressive is their ability to keep the game close and come out on top with six come-from-behind victories this year.

The Vikings are undefeated at home, and the Cowboys have to go on the road again; for that reason, I think they will struggle to win this one on the road.

Prediction: Vikings ML +100
