Betting 2025 NFC Teams to Win the Next Super Bowl
This year’s Super Bowl will have plenty of drama.
The NFC participant will either be the upstart Washington Commanders led by unflappable rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels or the Commanders’ NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Both the Eagles and Commanders have the ability to hang with the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills on the scoreboard.
But hanging with a team and beating a team are two different things.

Betting 2025 NFC Teams to Win the Next Super Bowl
Super Bowl futures lift one NFC team as the favorite to win the Super Bowl and the other as the longest shot on the board to take home the NFL Championship.
The Eagles are a solid +175 chalk to win the title.
Philadelphia is favored over both the Kansas City Chiefs at +210 and the Buffalo Bills at +250.
Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and one of the best lines in the league makes the Philly offense close to unstoppable.
The defense has had a major turnaround from 2023.
The reason is because the Eagles went out and hired Vic Fangio, a defensive coordinating legend, as their DC.
Fangio has turned around one of the worst defenses in the NFC in 2023 to one of it’s best.
If the D holds up, the thinking is that the Eagles can beat Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs or take down Josh Allen and the Bills.
But although Philadelphia is the chalk, the value is with Philly’s competition in Sunday’s NFC Championship, the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders don’t have a great defense but it does what it must, which is give Jayden Daniels enough breathing room so that the superstar rookie quarterback can put points on the board.
Washington’s D picked off Jared Goff twice in the Commanders amazing 45-31 win over the Lions in the NFL Divisional Round.
Washington gave up points but they gave Daniels more possessions, which is how the Commanders managed to score the upset victory.
The betting implications of a Washington Super Bowl win would be massive.
It would send Vegas and most sportsbooks into a tailspin because +850 are huge odds.

Top NFC Super Bowl Moments
Check out the Top 5 moments for the National Football Conference in the Super Bowl.
5. Packers win Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II
The first two Super Bowls were all about Vince Lombardi, Paul Hornung and Bart Starr.
The Green Bay Packers showed that the NFC was the top conference and that to be a Super Bowl Champion you had to go through Green Bay.
4. Eagles Win Super Bowl LII with backup QB Nick Foles
Rookie star quarterback Carson Wentz, an NFL MVP candidate, went down to a late season injury which meant Doug Pederson had to utilize journeyman quarterback Nick Foles throughout the playoffs.
Foles responded brilliantly when running Pederson’s offense to perfection.
Foles and Eagles upset Brady and the Patriots in one of the most thrilling and high scoring Super Bowls in recent memory.
3. The Bears destroy the Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX
Walter Payton, arguably the greatest running back in NFL history, languished as a Chicago Bears for years.
But in the 1985-1986 season, the Bears sent the best defense in NFL history to the field.
Buddy Ryan’s famed 4-6 defense helped Payton, charismatic QB Jim McMahon, coach Mike Ditka, DE Dan Hampton, LB Mike Singletary and Refrigerator Perry to a Super Bowl win.
2. NYG, Washington, and Dallas beat the Buffalo Bills in 4 straight Super Bowls
The best team to never win a Super Bowl were the 1990s Buffalo Bills led by Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and linebackers Cornelius Bennett and Shane Conlan.
What’s amazing is that not only did the Bills lose 4 straight but all 4 losses came against NFC East teams.
The NFC East is the same conference where the Eagles and Commanders play.
The Giants, the then Washington Redskins, and the Cowboys beat the Bills in those 4 straight games.
Buffalo had a shot in the first game but Scott Norwood’s last second field goal was wide left.
The field goal was the most significant plot point in Vincent Gallo’s independent cult classic movie Buffalo 66.
1. Eli Manning and the Giants upset Tom Brady and the undefeated Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII
No doubt, Eli Manning’s awesome orchestrated upset of Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII will go down as the greatest NFC moment in the Lombardi Trophy game.
The Giants were an incredible -14.5 underdogs.
The line went down to -12 before kickoff because the sharps began to understand that the Giants had the type of defense that could force Brady and the Pats into playing slow.
Still, nobody believed the G-Men would win straight up.
Manning deserves to be in the Hall of Fame just for this game.
He was the unquestioned leader of one of the biggest underdogs in NFL history going up against the first undefeated team to land in the Super Bowl since the Dolphins in the 1970s.
The Philadelphia Eagles Are the NFC Team that will Win the Super Bowl and Here’s Why
Although I love Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders and believe D.C. has a shot to upset the Eagles on Sunday, Washington won’t win the Super Bowl.
The issue is on the defensive side of the ball.
Dan Quinn is a master defensive strategist.
But he doesn’t have the players to stop Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes.
Allen and Mahomes are on fire right now.
So no matter which team the Commanders face in the Bowl, they will lose.
The Eagles on the other hand have Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts.
Hurts, the Eagles start quarterback, doubles as one of the top rushers in the NFL.
So Philly boasts two of the best running backs in the league.
Jalen can also throw pinpoint passes to DeVonta Smith, tight end Dallas Goedert, and A.J. Brown.
Brown should be healthy by February 9.
Vic Fangio has two weeks to devise a plan to stop Allen or Mahomes.
If the Eagles win the NFC Championship, the Super Bowl chalk has a big chance of beating the Chiefs or Bills on Super Bowl Sunday.
