In NFL Week 4, the Saints played awful in the loss to the rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of the Saints’ issues was turnovers. For example, New Orleans picked off Baker Mayfield inside their 5 yard line and then on the very next play, fumbled the ball back to the Bucs.

The Patriots were even worse against the Cowboys than the Saints were versus the Bucs. More importantly for the Saints winning thesis is the fact both Christian Gonzalez and Matthew Judon, the Pats’ two best defensive players, won’t step onto the field.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

Another good sign is that if Kenny Pickett can’t go, Mitch Trubisky is a veteran signal-caller who will effectively move the ball versus the Ravens‘ defense. Baltimore’s offense looked great versus Cleveland. Ah, but Tomlin knows how to create defensive game plans to temper Lamar’s exceptional abilities. Taking a swing on the home team Steelers makes sense.

Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams

No defense can stop Jalen Hurts and Philly’s offense. But the Rams should be able to go mano y mano on the scoreboard because the Eagles’ linebacking unit and secondary aren’t close to being as effective in 2023 as they were last season. Matthew Stafford and his mates can pull off the upset.

The Bolts, though, sacked O’Connell 7 times. The Packers won’t get to Vegas’ QB as many times as LAC did on Monday night. So even if Jimmy G. doesn’t start, the Raiders will win their second game of the season.
