Korn Ferry Tour The Ascendant presented by Blue Betting Predictions to Win

The Korn Ferry Tour is back in action this week after a week’s hiatus, with players teeing it up at TPC Colorado in Berthoud, Colorado. The tournament was first played in 2019 and was formerly known as the TPC Colorado Championship at Heron Lakes. Tournament play spans over four days, with a traditional cut after the first two rounds of the tournament.

Dou Zecheng won here last season, shooting a 17-under and beating Yuan Yechun by one stroke. Zecheng’s four-day total of 271 set the tournament record for the lowest total. The victory was Zecheng’s third win on the Korn Ferry Tour and was a springboard for the 26-year-old to the PGA Tour.

The purse for the tournament is $1 million dollars, and the event is one of ten remaining tournaments on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour schedule.

Let’s dive into the golf analysis of the The Ascendant field plus the top favorites to watch out for, look at their Korn Ferry Tour betting lines and find out why they have those lines before placing your next golf bets.

July 13th – July 16th, 2023
TPC Colorado | Berthoud, Colorado

TPC Colorado

TPC Colorado is located just north of Denver and features a length test of just under 8,000 yards. Played at extreme elevation (over 5,000 feet), players will need to adjust for the distance their golf ball will travel. The par-72 layout was Arthur Schaupeter.

The 13th hole is a par-5 that measures 773 yards, making it the longest hole of any PGA Tour-sanctioned tournament.

The Field

Nine of the top 10 players ranked in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List are in action this week. Highlighting the group is the no. 2 player on the list, Rico Hoey. Hoey has already locked up PGA Tour status for next season, but the 27-year-old can earn instant status if he can win two more times this year.

Ben Silverman, David Skinns, and Jimmy Stager, the no. 3 through no. 5 ranked players on the points list are teeing it up this week to test their game in the Colorado mountains. All three players have victories this season on the KFT.

KFT rookie and former Illinois Fighting Illini golf standout Adrien Dumont De Chassart (+1625) is the pre-tournament favorite to win the tournament. The 23-year-old made an immediate impact on the KFT, winning the BMW Charity Pro-Am and following that result with a T2 a week later at the Wichita Open.

Alejandro Tosti (+2100) comes in second, looking to win for the first time on the KFT. Tosti has been knocking on the door with six top-10 finishes.

William Mouw returns to KFT action after a solid showing at last week’s John Deere Classic. Mouw (+2200) left Silvis with a T13 finish and rejoins the KFT, where he made three of four cuts, his best finish a T17 at the Memorial Heath Championship.

Recent winners Skinns (+2600) and Silverman (+2700) round out the top five pre-tournament favorites. The 41-year-old Skinns will be playing on the PGA Tour next season after winning the Club Car Championship earlier this season and adding four additional top-10 results. Silverman, too, will head to the PGA circuit thanks to a fantastic season that includes his win at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic and a second-place finish at the HomeTown Lenders Championship.
