The Korn Ferry Tour continues its swing through the Midwest with the NV5 Invitational presented by Old Bank National at The Glen Club in Glenview, Illinois, right outside of Chicago.
This year’s event will have an interesting twist. The entire tournament will be streamed live and hosted by members of the Fore Play podcast. The event runs from Thursday, July 27th through Sunday, July 30th, and has produced past champions such as Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Young.
Originally called the Evans Scholars Invitational, the event is in its fifth year of existence on the KFT. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was postponed until September and moved to Chicago Highlands Club for that year.
England’s Harry Hall is the defending champion and now resides on the PGA Tour. Hall tallied a tournament-best score of 262 (22-under par) last season, taking down Nick Hardy in a playoff. The win was Hall’s second on the KFT circuit.
Let’s dive into the golf analysis of the NV5 Invitational field plus the top favorites to watch out for, look at their Korn Ferry Tour betting odds and find out why they have those lines before placing your next golf bets.

July 27th – July 30th, 2023
The Glen Club, Glenview, Illinois
The Glen Club
The course sits within the former grounds of the Glenview Naval Air Station on 195 acres of land. Considered one of the best golf courses in the Chicagoland area and state of Illinois, the track was designed by Tom Fazio and plays as a par-72 with a length of approximately 7,250 yards.
The past three tournaments at this venue have produced winning scores of 17-under, 18-under, and 22-under, so players will need to average rounds of five-under or better if they want a shot at the title. The heat will be a factor during the first two rounds of the tournament, with temperatures soaring into the upper 90s; however, over the weekend, the temps return to normal with highs in the low 80s.
NV5 Invitational Field
Ben Kohles and Rico Hoey, no. 1 and no. 3 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, headline a solid field of golfers. Belgian golfer Adrien Dumont de Chassart, a University of Illinois product, looks to continue his KFT success as he approaches locking up his Tour card for next season.
Parker Coody, brother of last week’s winner Pierceson Coody, looks to parlay his T2 finish at the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Chicago. Coody sits 23rd on the points list as the KFT schedule winds down.
Other top players on the points list in the field this week include Jimmy Stanger (no. 7), Alejandro Tosti (no. 8), Scott Gutshchewski (no. 11), and Tom Whitney (no. 12).

Tosti (+2500), Hoey (+2800), Kohles, and Jake Knapp (+3000) round out the early betting favorites according to mybookie.ag. Knapp comes in 16th on the points list and looking to add to his total as he attempts to secure his card and take the pressure off the remainder of the season.
