The seventh edition of the Pinnacle Bank Championship returns this week on the Korn Ferry Tour as the regular season winds down to only two events remaining before the KFT Playoffs.

The Club at Indian Creek in Omaha, Nebraska, has hosted the tournament since its inception in 2017. Tournament play tees off with the opening round on Thursday, August 10th, and concludes on Sunday, August 13th.

Robby Shelton won his second KFT event of the season here last year, firing a four-day total score of 267 (17-under par). Shelton defeated Ben Taylor by one shot for his fourth KFT victory of his career.

Following the remaining two regular season events, players will advance to the KFT Playoffs that span over four tournaments. Players inside the top 30 on the points list at the end of the regular season will ensure their TOUR card for next season.

The Club at Indian Creek is a 27-hole public course located on the western edge of Omaha. The tournament uses a combination of all three 9-hole layouts for the tournament.

The nine-hole Red Feather is used for the front nine, while a combination of holes from Grey Hawk and Blackbird make up the back nine. In all, the scorecard reads as a par-71 and plays approximately 7,500 yards in length.

The venue is over 37 acres of fairways and features 80+ bunkers as well as 15 holes that bring water into play.

Sam Ryder owns the tournament record, shooting a 263 (21-under) in the inaugural event in 2017. The average winning score over the last six seasons has been just under 16-under.

Ben Kohles is back in action this week as he tries to solidify his spot atop the KFT Points List. A win this week will give Kohles his third of the season and an instant promotion to the PGA Tour. 

Rico Hoey sits second on the points list, just seven points behind Kohles heading into the final two tournaments of the regular season. Hoey and Kohles are both Tour bound, but the player who finishes in the top spot on the points list will earn an exemption into next season’s PLAYERS Championship.

David Skinns is fifth on the KFT points list and comes to Omaha as a two-time winner of this event. Another solid finish should secure Skinns PGA Tour playing privileges for next year.

Last week’s winner Roger Sloan looks to keep the good times rolling this week. Sloan jumped to 27th place on the points list with his first professional victory in nine years.

Rookie Adrien Dumont de Chassart (+2800) enters the week as the betting favorite in Omaha. The former University of Illinois standout has had no issues adjusting to the professional game, winning in his first event as a pro and adding five-straight finishes of T10 or better since.

Nicholas Lindheim and Alexander Tosti (+3500) are right behind. Tosti comes in ranked 8th on the points list, while Lindheim is 10th.

Closing out the betting favorites are Pierceson Coody and Ben Silverman. Both Silverman (4th) and Coody (5th) have locked up their Tour card for the 2024 season.
