Commanders vs Giants Odds and Betting Prediction for this Week 7 Matchup

In Week 7, a divisional battle awaits as the Washington Commanders face off against the New York Giants in the first of two meetings this season.

The Washington Commanders enter the game with a 3-3 record, placing them third in the NFC East standings. After a humbling loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football, Washington rebounded with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons last week.

On the other hand, the Giants are coming off a devastating defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills, leaving them at 1-5 for the season and languishing at the bottom of the NFC East.

The Washington Commanders are listed as the favorites at -2.5 in this game against the Giants.

MyBookie offers the game prediction plus NFL betting lines, analysis, along with a free pick for Washington Commanders versus the New York Giants which are playing on Week 7 of the NFL season.

Washington Looking to Keep Momentum Going

Just one week after their loss to the Bears, the Washington Commanders bounced back to .500 thanks to Sam Howell’s steady performance against the Falcons.

A .500 record in the NFC could potentially open the door to postseason play come January. Howell’s stats reflect 145 completions out of 214 attempts for 1,500 yards, nine touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Terry McLaurin has been his primary target, amassing 31 receptions, 342 yards, and a touchdown. Brian Robinson has had a productive season for Washington, with over 300 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Examining the stats, Washington is scoring an average of 22.2 points per game but conceding over 29.

The Commanders have fared well on the road this season, with a 2-1 record. Their schedule shows that they will host the Eagles next week before embarking on back-to-back games against the Patriots and Seahawks.

These two teams will face off again on November 19th. The Washington Commanders are determined to compete, and whether they make the postseason remains to be seen, but Ron Rivera has them in a competitive mindset.

Jones Searching in 2023

The New York Giants still have their starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, listed on the injury report due to a neck injury. Jones was sidelined in Week 6, and Tyrod Taylor stepped in to replace him. Taylor went 24 of 36 for 200 yards but did not throw a touchdown or interception in the game.

A positive note for the Giants is the absence of Saquon Barkley from the injury report. The former Penn State running back rushed for 93 yards in the game, highlighting the team’s need for his presence in the offense.

Unfortunately, the Giants are the lowest-scoring team in the league, averaging just 11.8 points per game. Their defensive performance is also concerning, as they currently rank 28th in the league, allowing nearly 28 points per game.

The Giants’ sole win this season came in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. After this game, the Giants will face the Jets at home and then embark on a road trip for three consecutive games. Their schedule includes matchups against the Raiders, Cowboys, and Commanders.

Commanders vs Giants Odds and Betting Prediction | Commanders Top Giants

Our betting predictions for this game remain unchanged. We favor the Washington Commanders until the New York Giants demonstrate their ability to put together a complete 60-minute performance and secure a win.

The Giants had a chance to win last week, but costly mistakes and poor play led to their loss. Washington is hungry and eager to secure a road victory, making them our preferred choice. Take the Commanders with a -2.5 point spread.

Our final score prediction for this game is a 21-17 victory for the Washington Commanders over the New York Giants. While the Giants have struggled to score, Washington’s defense is not exceptional.

Both teams are expected to put points on the board, but the Commanders will ultimately win and cover the spread.
