It has been a bit of a rough season in terms of our picks, especially in the point total plays that we have delivered, but that changed in Week 9. Yes, we are still just 11-16 in our O/U picks this season but hitting a 3-team parlay last weekend helped boost the bankroll a little. It was our 4th parlay hit this NFL season and we definitely feel that there is more to come in the second half of the season. We are in the second half now and have a better handle on most teams, although there are still a few out there who are proving to be very tough to figure out. Those teams had better get things together quickly, as failing to do so will see them get into a position in the playoff race that is too tough to dig out of. With all of that in mind, let’s get to our O/U picks for NFL Week 10 so you can continue making your bets against the NFL Betting Odds.
Week 10 O/U Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting
Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys (OVER 55)
The unpredictability of this season was in full display last week with the Dallas Cowboys. They were on a 6-game winning streak and getting Dak Prescott back in the lineup, yet they ended up losing 30-16 to the Denver Broncos in a game that they started as a 10-point favorite. Given the poor showing of the rest of the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys are still in a comfortable position atop the standings. This week, they will welcome the Atlanta Falcons, who got back to .500 with a win over the New Orleans Saints via a last-second FG. In their last 8 trips to Dallas, the Falcons have seen the OVER hit 7 times, while Dallas have seen the OVER come up in 10 of their last 15 games overall.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (UNDER 47 ½)
There are a few teams who are in an untenable position at this stage of the season, with the Jacksonville Jaguars being in that mix. They are not going to get anywhere near the playoffs, but they proved last week that they can still be a pain in the behind. They delivered one of the biggest upsets of the season in a 9-6 win over the Buffalo Bills, but can they build on that? It’s certainly not going to be easy against a Colts team that is digging out of an early hole by winning 3 of their last 4 games. A win here would get them back to .500. Low scoring has been common in Jaguars games this season, with 6 of their last 7 going UNDER. The over has been trending with the Colts, but I think the Jaguars lack of offense will keep this one UNDER.
Detroit Lions at Pittsburgh Steelers (OVER 42 ½)
While most of the attention is on the divisional and playoff races, there is also some interest in the plight of the Detroit Lions. They come into this week with an 0-8 record, and many fans and pundits believe they look destined to go winless this season. This weekend, they will be in Pittsburgh to face a Steelers team that is on a 4-game winning streak after defeating the Chicago Bears last weekend. While Detroit have been trending on the under, there are a couple of reasons to like the OVER here. The OVER has hit in 4 of the last 5 meetings between these teams, and the Steelers have seen the OVER hit in 8 of their last 12 versus the NFC North.
