As we head into Week 14 of the season, it is perhaps a little surprising that only one team has been officially eliminated from playoff contention. That would be the Houston Texans, but they will almost certainly not be in their own company for very much longer. While we will see teams start to get eliminated quite quickly in the coming weeks, the current standings tell you just how much parity we are seeing in the league this season. That has made handicapping a good deal tougher this season, but we have managed to grind out some wins over the first 13 weeks, including hitting an ATS parlay last week. Let’s take a look at the schedule for Week 14 to see if we can pick some O/U winners so you can bet against the NFL odds.
2021 Season Week 14 Over/Under Picks | NFL Betting
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Football Team (UNDER 48)
Early on, it looked as though the Dallas Cowboys were going to run away with the NFC East, and while they still have the lead, they are beginning to feel some pressure from the Washington Commanders, who come into this one on a 4-game winning streak. Dallas snapped out of a stretch that saw them lose 3 of 4 with a win last weekend. The Cowboys’ offense, though, is not firing as well as it was at the start of the season, so it’s not surprising that they have seen 5 of their last 6 games go UNDER. It has been the same with Washington, who has seen 6 of their last 7 go UNDER the point total. They have also seen 7 of their last 10 at home go UNDER.
Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (OVER 48)
It is probably fair to suggest that things have not gone exactly as expected for either of these teams this season. The Raiders have been on a rollercoaster ride on and off the field this season, so their current 6-6 record might not be as bad as it looks at first glance. The Chiefs were expected to roll through the AFC again, but they have had to deal with some poor performances this season. They do seem to have snapped out of that now and are back to rolling again, coming into this weekend with an 8-4 record. When the Raiders play teams from the AFC West, we tend to see some points hit the board, with 5 of their last 6 versus that group going OVER. The Chiefs have been trending under, but I think that goes out the window here.
San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals (OVER 48 ½)
This is another fantastic matchup, with both of these teams engaged in playoff races in their respective conferences. The 49ers have come to life over the last few weeks and have put themselves back in the playoff picture. They are, though, coming into this game on the heels of a loss. The Bengals are probably a lot better than most of us expected this season, but they have had some off games along the way. They come into this game trying to rid the memory of a thumping by the Chargers last weekend. The 49ers have found themselves in high-scoring games of late, seeing the OVER hit in 5 of their last 7. It has been the same for the Bengals, who have gone OVER in 5 of their last 6.
