NFL 2021 Week 17 Against the Spread Betting Analysis & Picks

NFL 2021 Week 17 Against the Spread Betting Analysis & Picks

It is something of an unusual week in the NFL, as all but one of the games will be played on Sunday. There is no Thursday night game in Week 17, with the New Year on the horizon, but there are a ton of games that will go a long way towards deciding who makes the playoffs and who gets to sit and home and watch. Some of the battles will go all the way down to the final game of the season, but we will almost certainly see some questions answered on Sunday. It’s time now to look ahead to see if we can come up with some winning NFL Betting picks for the penultimate week of the season, so let’s get the ball rolling with our ATS selections.

Week 17 ATS Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

LA Rams (-3 ½) at Baltimore Ravens

When the LA Rams traded away Jared Goff to get Matthew Stafford in return, they did so with the express purpose of building a team to win the Super Bowl. As it stands now, they are on the brink of winning the NFC West, while also putting themselves in a position to potentially get the #1 seed. They would need to win out and get some help, but just clinching the division would ensure the Rams a home game in the playoffs. For the Ravens, they need a win to stay alive in the playoff picture, which seemed an unlikely event a month ago. They looked to be in control of the North, but 4 straight losses have them now sitting below the playoff line. The Rams have covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 games, and while the Ravens are 4-2 ATS in their last 6, their current form does not give me a ton of confidence.

Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts (-7 ½)

Every season, we always seem to see a team get hot at just the right time, parlaying that run into a playoff spot and a deep postseason run. The Colts might well prove to be that team this season, as they are on fire right now, winning 3 in a row and 6 of their last 7 games. They have a tough one here, though, as the Raiders have won back-to-back games to keep their playoff hopes alive. While Vegas are still in the picture, they are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games and are even worse on the road, covering just 3 times in their last 10 trips outside Sin City. Meanwhile, Indianapolis has been a good bet of late, covering the spread in 4 of their last 5.

Philadelphia Eagles (-3 ½) at Washington Football Team

While the playoff picture in the NFC is a little clearer than the AFC, we still have a couple of spots open just above the playoff line. The Philadelphia Eagles look bound and determined to make it in, as they come into this one on the heels of back-to-back wins that has them in the #7 spot right now. This weekend, they will take a road trip to Washington to face a team that looks to be in total disarray after getting hammered by the Dallas Cowboys and having teammates take a swing at one another on the sidelines. The Eagles are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games, as well as being 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings with the Washington.
