The 44th edition of the Ryder Cup begins later this week, with Team USA looking to defend the Cup against Team Europe. Defending the title will be a tough task for the Americans, who have dropped the last six matches on European soil. The first round of the tournament begins on Friday, September 29th, and concludes on Sunday, October 1st.
The host of the 2023 Ryder Cup is Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, located just outside of Rome. This will be the first time that the country of Italy will play host to the biannual event.
With Ryder Cup action closing in, let’s take a closer look at the top 3 betting odds to win Ryder Cup for each team.

2023 Ryder Cup Matches | 44th edition of the Ryder Cup
PGA of America | Ryder Cup Europe
Friday, September 29th – Sunday, October 1st, 2023
Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, Rome, Italy
2023 Ryder Cup Odds: USA +100 | Europe -106 | Draw +1100
Captains: Zach Johnson – USA | Luke Donald – Europe
Outright Winner – Team USA (+100)
We noted that the Americans haven’t hoisted a Ryder Cup on European grounds since 1993 and are crossing the pond after the European Team handed USA a 17.5-10.5 in France back in 2019.
This team has a different makeup than that of years past, and the four rookies on the team, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Max Homa, and Sam Burns, won’t play like rookies, given their recent success in big tournaments.
Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler are the veterans of the group, both with four Ryder Cup appearances under their belt. Spieth has had some success in the event, sporting an 8-7-3 record over 18 events, while Fowler is just 3-7-5 in 15 matches.
Outright Winner Pick: Team USA +100 | Bet Ryder Cup to Win

Top USA Points Scorer – Collin Morikawa (+900)
Morikawa makes his second appearance in the golf classic after starring as a rookie at Whistling Straits in 2021. The California native played like a season-veteran, helping the American team with a 3-0-1 record.
This year, the two-time major winner is fifth on the odds board as Top USA Points Scorer. The value here is too good to pass up, and we foresee Morikawa continuing the same success he had in his Ryder Cup debut.
At +900, the 26-year-old is one of our top odds at this number. We expect him to pick up right where he left off two years ago.
USA Scorer Pick: Collin Morikawa +900 | Bet Ryder Cup to Win

Top Rookie Points Scorer – Ludvig Aberg (+250)
If you don’t know who Ludvig Aberg is, you will quickly find out this weekend how talented the 23-year-old Swedish golfer is. The former Texas Tech Red Raider is a former no. 1 ranked amateur golfer in the world and the Ben Hogan Award winner given to the best collegiate male golfer.
He is the betting favorite to lead all rookies in points, and we agree with the oddsmakers here. Aberg had no problems adjusting to the professional game, making his debut at the RBC Canadian Open and finishing tied for 25th. Aberg improved on that finish one month later, tying for fourth place at the John Deere Classic.
Earlier this month, he notched his first DP World Tour victory with a triumph at the Omega European Masters. That win capped a successful first season as a professional and gives the rookie the confidence to play well this weekend.
Top Rookie Pick: Ludvig Aberg +250 | Bet Ryder Cup to Win
