NFL Week 14 O/U Picks and Expert Analysis

2023 NFL Week 14 O/U Picks: With each passing week, we edge a little closer to the end of the regular season and the start of the playoffs. MyBookie Sportsbook NFL Odds, American Football NFL Lines

By this stage of the proceedings, we usually have a very good idea as to which teams will be challenging for the Super Bowl 58, but this has been a strange kind of season, with upsets and surprise results the order of the day. No one team has really stood out as a clear favorite, but the final month or so of the season could well see a team or two emerge from the pack. All we can do as bettors is focus on the week ahead, which is what we are doing here. We have all kinds of picks for you in Week 14 of the NFL season, but for the purposes of this piece, we are focusing on our O/U picks for the week, so let’s get to it.

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

Let’s get things started by taking a closer look at the Thursday night game in Week 14. If you have been paying any attention at all to these two teams, you will be well aware that both have struggled mightily on the offensive side of things, which is why this point total is set so low. My feeling, though, is that it may be just a little too low to go with the under. If you look at the last 3 games for the Patriots, the under certainly seems like the way to go given that a combined total of 29 points went on the board in those games. It is much the same story with the Steelers, but despite how tough it has been for both teams, I still think this one creeps OVER the point total.

Houston Texans at New York Jets

Speaking of teams struggling to put points on the board, we need to talk about the New York Jets. Over the last 5 games, they have managed a combined 45 points, so we don’t expect them to suddenly break out and start being an offensive juggernaut. The Texans have found an absolute gem in QB CJ Stroud, who looks to be getting better with each passing week of his rookie season. I think there is a good chance he goes off on the Jets this weekend, with the Texans potentially doing enough to go OVER the point total without any real help from the Jets. The Jets have seen 10 of their last 13 against the AFC South go OVER the point total.

LA Rams at Baltimore Ravens

This, for me, is one of the better games on the Week 14 schedule. The Rams are coming to life and have won 3 in a row to get themselves into the Wild Card picture. The Ravens, who are coming off a bye week, are beginning to emerge as a potential Super Bowl favorite, thanks in large part to an offense that is firing on all cylinders, crossing the 30-point mark in 5 of their last 6 games. During that run, the Ravens saw the OVER hit in 4 of those 6 games. I think we could be looking at a good offensive battle here, which is why I am all about the OVER.
